The DP/DP coupler interlinks two PROFIBUS DP networks and permits data transmission between the masters and the two DP networks. The maximum size of the transmitted data is 244 bytes of input data and 244 bytes of output data. The DP/DP coupler is configured in the S7 professional software or by means of a GSD file.
