Features
Unlike spot welding, joints can be created in-die with clinch fasteners and automated equipment
Can be used where welding is impossible or undesirable, such as joining dissimilarmaterials, precoated
sheets, and high strength thin sheet metals
Unlike welding, clinch fasteners do not create a heat zone in the materials during installation
Can be installed after the painting or coating process, with virtually no aesthetic damage to the application
Allows simple visual inspection to determine proper fastener seating
Placing equipment ranging from manual working station to multiple, high rate setting machines
Benefits
Lowers in-place costs, maximizes assembly flexibility
Corrosion resistance is maintained
Changes and damage to the application materials are minimized
Can eliminate welding operations and its environmental and safety hazards
Avoids cross-threading and other problems caused by coated or painted threads
Joints do not require destructive testing to determine installed strength
Use of threaded fasteners ease servicing while providing high joint strength
Strux® Fasteners
STRUX® clinch studs (external threads)
STRUX® clinch nuts (internal threads)
unthreaded STRUXtite® nuts for use with TAPTITE® thread-rolling fasteners are available as specials
Available in sizes M4 M12
Optimum performance in sheet metals over 1.5mm thick
Optional Prevalok® prevailing torque feature
Rivtex® Fasteners
Rivtex® clinch studs (external threads)
Rivtex® pierce-clinch nuts (internal threads)
Available in sizes M5 M10
For thinner sheet metals, including high strength thin steel sheets and aluminum sheets

KPS6 Used in plated thru-holes in multi-layer P.C. boards. The self-expanding shank ensures positive contact with plated thru-holes. Thread sizes #4 to #10 and M3 to M5.
SOAG, SOSG Used to ground P.C. boards to steel or aluminum chassis. Annular projecting teeth eliminate the need for serrated or starwashers to make good electrical contact with the circuit foil. Thread sizes #4, #6, and M3, M4.
KFE, KFSE
Standoffs available with or without threads for mounting into P.C. boards, for spacing or stacking.Thread sizes #4, #6 and M3.

Special fastening components SEAL LOCK® sealing nuts and HELICOIL® lock nuts
Special fastening components are manufactured on fully automatic production and assembly systems:
SEAL LOCK® sealing nuts, the cost-effective solution for reliable sealing of nut and bolt connections in threads and under head presentation against gaseous and liquid media under high pressure. (hydraulic systems, fuel systems and pneumatic systems)
The HELICOIL® lock nut with integrated HELICOIL® SCREWLOCK® is the solution for heavy-duty threaded joints with resistance to torque loss.
HELICOIL® nuts satisfy the high requirements with regard to corrosion, temperature loads, low thread friction and the reusability of threaded parts.

The inserti it threads allow to obtain to you of the reliable and resistant anchorages in presence of materials with thin spessori. It rests can be carried out the “blind person”, on accessible pieces from a single side, fastly and without particular operations. For velocizzare the operation the use of pneumatic attrezature is advised. TECHNICAL NORMS: the immense range of the materials and the shapes used for the construction of the inserti threads allows to you to resolve every inherent problem the assemblage of the ended manufatto one. The three various witness, ROUND, SVASATA and REDUCED concur various and reliable solutions. The materials in steel, aluminum and stainless steel allow a corrected connection to the base structure. Councils to pierce one 0,10 milimeter in more of the external diameter of the file. The hexagonal file concurs an absolute guarantee of possible spins.

TP Hi Torque Flat Head open end blind Rivet Nuts are manufactured as turned parts to ensure the accuracy of the concentricity between the outer diameter of the body and the inner wall of the counter bore. Only by accurate machining can the wall remain a constant thickness around the circumference, this ensures that when the products are set, the wall collapses uniformly keeping the thread forms perpendicular to the sheet. This ensures that the threads will not become crossed on installation of the mating screw. The other advantage gained by turning the rivet nut is that a highly effective knurl can be produced on the outside of the body where the clinch takes effect with the sheet. Not only does this mean that the knurl engages the back of the sheet to improve torque resistance performance the knurl also swells to grip the walls of the hole during installation, again improving torque resistance and increasing surface area contact. These products are manufactured in various head and body formats see following part Nos. Hi Torque Rivet Nuts are available in Carbon Steel Zinc plated and Yellow passivated, Code 40 and in Stainless Steel, Code SS.

CN Cage Nuts represent the traditional European metric size based products used for years in all aspects of European manufacturing. The greater variation on panel ranges has allowed these products to superceed the traditional UK sizes which were limited to only two panel ranges. They are totally interchangeable with the old standards but offer the designer greater choice of Hole Sizes and Panel thicknesses. They are particularly usefull where the advantage of floating thread forms are required to overcome out of tolerance mating parts. The fact that the nut floats in the cage offers a simple cost effective solution to this otherwise expensive problem. The cage nut can be used in blind applications; it can be fitted after painting of the panels and so offers the designer lots of advantages. Traditionally offered in Zinc and Yellow Passivate and in Stainless Steel these parts can be supplied with a combination of plated nuts with Stainless Steel cages or vice versa. Code 40111 M?? 40 defines Spring steel cage, steel zinc/yellow nut. Code 40112 M?? SS defines Stainless cage Stainless nut. Code 40113 M?? 4S defines stainless cage, steel zinc/yellow nut. HSL, in line with all other manufacturers of spring steel clips, refuses to accept liability for any premature failure of any spring steel part it supplies with an Electro-Plated Finish that has been specified by the customer, due to uncertainty regarding the incidence of, identification of, control of and removal of Hydrogen Embrittlement. Despite accurate processing controls, baking/anealing cannot be relied upon to guarantee removal of Hydrogen. We strongly recommend alternative finishes be specified.

CNF Captive Floating Clinch Nuts are a very useful fastener for reducing the problems caused in assembly of pre-fabricated boxes where tolerance build up or inaccuracies due to bends occurs. Whilst the outer shell of the fastener is captive in the sheet there is a separate inner nut which moves within the outer shell without rotating. This allows the small amount of movement required to 'fix' the tolerance errors. Available in Steel Zinc and Clear Code 60, or Stainless Steel Code SS. These products are suitable for use in materials of Rockwell Hardness of B - 70 or less.

I autofissanti dice C and CS guarantee resistant threads to forts loaded with extraction and torsion on sheets also of minimal thickness (not inferior to 0,8 milimeter). I dice C and CS are constructed in compliance with military detailed lists MIL-N-45938/1. Autofissanti hinges CH/CHS/CHA to flat head allow to create threads on foils (the minimal thickness 1 milimeter) with elevated guarantees of held to torsion and traction. The colonnine distance them autofissanti CFSO/CFSOS - CFBSO/CFBSOS have been planned for a practical and fast installation with whichever normal pneumatic, hydraulic or mechanical equipment. It distances them, is with passing thread is with blind thread, are uses you on sheets of not inferior thickness to 1 milimeter. They are not necessary secondary operations of reaming or slobber before the installation.
