The unfailing eye – testero vision.
Vision inspection of surfaces and outlines.
- Economical quality inspection
- Self-learning inspection system
- Repeatable inspection results
ixmation testero vision is an automatic vision quality control station, which inspects part surfaces within micron accuracy using a camera and the associated digital image process software. It inspects rotationally symmetrical precision parts such as medical screws, quality parts for automobiles, fine gears for watches, etc.
Whenever a surface must be 100% perfectly prepared, in order to ensure that the following processes and treatments succeed and achieve the highest quality, the ixmation testero vision is the automatic learning optical inspection system is the system of your choice – available as a stand-alone system or as a integrated part of a complete production system.

The surface quality of a product - particularly in the automotive industry - constitutes an important criterion for the customer and is generally seen in close relation to the quality of the overall vehicle. Even inevitable disturbances at the early production stages prior to applying the paint work (e.g. in the press shop or body shop) may cause defects such as dents, bumps, sink marks, etc. which might not be visible to the eye while the vehicle is still unpainted. On a high-gloss paint surface, however, even the slightest irregularities are clear to see with incident light from the proper angle, and constitute a reduction in quality. Particularly the intense competition among manufacturers demands an increase in the surface quality in conjunction with continuously decreasing production costs.
The target freedom from defects is time-consuming and labor-intensive to achieve for automobile manufacturers. It is not 100 % possible through conventional means so that defects that have gone unnoticed during the production process generate very high rework costs. Now, the early and complete detection of surface defects with the effective ABIS II high-precision surface inspection system opens up new perspectives in quality assurance.

Fault Detection, Surface Inspection
KW TRIO
Your demands for a reliable and flawless detection of extrusion faults and surface defects are ever increasing. This applies to extrusion, jacketing, enameling, drawing, and many other areas. For this reason the use of optical fault detectors ("lump detectors") is very popular. These photometric detectors are able to detect small lumps, neckdowns, and other defects on wires, cable, tubing etc., without being influenced by product parameters, line speed, vibration etc.
Important Features:
-3 times higher detection reliability (TRIO models) than conventional 2 axis systems
-Theoretically unlimited life expectancy
-Non-sensitive to stray light
-Flexible mounting concept
-Integrated air curtains for cleanliness of windows
-Defect classification and printout
-All data ports like RS-232, RS-422 and RS-485 as well as analog and PROFIBUS DP are available.

The ETA-GT II geometrical tester is a compact measurement system for all stages of disc manufacture - including stamper verification, half-disc and bonded discs.
It enables all relevant geometrical data to be determined, including the inner hole and the lead-in and lead-out diameter. The disc tray permits measurement of disc eccentricity relative to the inner groove (lead-in) as well as to the outer groove (leadout). With its easy-to-use, intuitive user interface, it provides a graphic representation of accuracy for measured geometrical data such as eccentricity, unroundness and layer shift of optical
discs or stampers.
While the ETA GT II serves CD as well as DVD, the ETAGT II / Blue provides one measurement system for all formats CD/DVD/BD.
KEY BENEFITS
- Geometrical tester for all stages of disc manufacture,
from stamper verification to molded CD or half discs to
bonded DVD and BD (optional)
- Measuring all cases: Prerecorded, recordable and
rewritable
- Ready for Blu-Ray single and dual layer discs (ETA-GT II
/ Blue)
- ETA-GT II (CD/DVD) upgradable to ETA-GT II / Blue
(CD/DVD/BD)
- Evaluation of eccentricity and unroundness
- Layer shift evaluation for dual-layer DVDs and BDs
- Evaluation of inner hole, plus inner and outer groove
diameter
- Indicator axes for adjustements to compensate eccentricity
