Junior LB 9509 Portable Tube Luminometer
The Junior is a small portable tube luminometer designed for all common applications using glow-type bioluminescent and chemiluminescent reagents. Excellent performance, its small size and low weight paired with battery operation make the Junior a highly versatile instrument which can be used in any location – the laboratory, on site or outdoors.
Sensitive
The detection unit of the Junior consists of a state-of-the art ultra fast single photon counting photomultiplier with low noise. For demanding applications a “high sensitivity” model with a specifically selected ultra low noise detector is avialable driving the detection limit down to less than 50 amol ATP.
Dynamic
Berthold Technologies single photon counting electronics and selected photomultiplier tubes with low noise and high saturation level ensure a wide dynamic range. The user will benefit by being able to measure low signals as well as high ones without the need to change any settings.
Versatile
The unique design of the measuring chamber allows the use of a variety of different sample tubes and sizes.
Easy-to-use
The lean and dedicated software is operated through a membrane keypad. The well arranged graphical display shows selected protocol, sample locatioon and number and the RLU value of the measurement. In addition a set consisting of a red, a yellow and a green LED unmistakably indicates whether a signal and thus a sample is above an upper limit (red), below a lower limit (green) or in between (yellow).
Applications
Reporter Gene Assays
ATP Monitoring
Hygiene Monitoring
Toxicity of Water Samples
Mycoplasma Detection

Lumat LB 9507 Tube Luminometer
The Lumat LB 9507 tube luminometer provides the sensitivity and versatility you need in a general purpose luminometer. Advanced tube-based photon counting provides an extended dynamic range with linearity over more than six decades. A DLReady™ instrument, the Berthold Lumat is ideally suited for reporter gene assays, and other luminescence research and diagnostics applications.
Key features
Variable volume injectors. The Lumat features reagent injectors providing the highest reliability and simplicity in liquid handling. Based on the jet injection principle the injectors combine high speed and precision of the injected volume with the reliable mixing of reagents. The injected reagent volume is programmable within the range of 25 µl to 300 µl.
Designed to withstand corrosive reagents the Lumat’s variable volume injectors are also optimized to reduce dead volume; an important consideration when using expensive reagents.
Unique measurement chamber design The measurement chamber is designed to enable rotating sample transport. You can load a second sample while the first one is being measured, thus saving time which results in throughputs approaching those of an automatic instrument. The special design of measurement chamber provides superior light collection efficiency.
Measurement modes
The built-in 32-bit software has been developed to provide easy, intuitive operation of the instrument’s powerful features. You can choose from a variety of basic measurement protocols.
Raw data protocol
Dual label protocol
Kinetic measurements
Cut-off protocol
Quantitative protocol (LIA, ILMA)

Extruded finned tubes
At the heart of most Thermofin heat exchangers’ technology lies Thermofin’s aluminium extruded finned tubes, they are the lead actors on which rests the efficiency and longevity of our units. Their particular design (mono or bimetal) provides great resistance (fin stiffness) as well as exceptional heat transfer characteristics (longevity, temperature range). The mechanical bond joining liner tubes and aluminium wall insures no corrosion occurs between fin and tube, a key factor in permitting the delivery of the specified duty by your heat exchanger, it also offers superior durability.
Heat pipes
Based on Thermofin’s extruded fin tube technology, our selection of heat pipes is designed to suit the need of the Original Equipment Manufacturer. Whether they be bent in ‘U’ shape or equipped with end fitting to facilitate their filling, Thermofin’s heat pipe designs are devoted to match your thermal and geometrical requirements. Their superior thermal performance is partly linked to the fintube inside capillary surface, created during the tube manufacture, this surface promotes the refrigerant migration.

Spiral Finned Tubes :
FINNED TUBES
While it is not necessary to tell engineers what finned tubes are, or that their use is mandatory in cases of gas-liquid heat exchange where the film coefficient ratio is above 2, it is essential to tell the engineers that M.J.Patel's FINNED TUBES are backed by not only engineering excellence of manufacture, but also by our zealously guarded reputation for the finest quality of all our products.
T-FINS
Helical Straight strip wound on the tube are mechanically secured. The tubes are required grade of steel, the fins are aluminium for maximum tube-wall temperature of 121 deg C (250 deg F) and mild service conditions.
L-FINS
Helical strip bent to L-shape are mechanically secured to the tube with the outer surface of the tube totally enclosed with fins, for full fin contact and protection of tube from chemical action of the gas for maximum tube-wall temperature of 177 deg C (350 deg F) and moderate service conditions.
G-FINS
Helical straight strip wound into pre-cut grooves on the outer wall of the tube, fin and groove lips mechanically closed for maximum tube-wall temperature of 371 deg C (700 deg F) and extreme working conditions.
STUDDED TUBES
We have developed state of the art Technology for studded Pipes and Tubes of Carbon, Alloy and Stainless Steel Material having extremely low clear gaps between studs. These are used in Refinery Services and Fluidized Beds Boiler Coils.
LONGTITUDINALLY FINNED TUBES
We have indigenous developed automatic welding machines for giving low distortion Longitudinally welded Finned Tubes used in low capacity Boilers.

For pressure vessels and reaction vessels in M.S., Al, Monel, Inconel, Cupronickel, etc., M.J. Patel employs the latest techniques for expanding tube ends into tube sheets. High pressure tests are always carried out on these heat exchangers before they leave the factory. Brass, copper, M.S. and S.S. tube sheets are used. Tube sheets are also made out of mild steel, alloy steel or stainless steel and baffle plates are made out of mild steel or stainless steel. M.J. Patel fabricates 'U' Tube heat exchangers which are used in fertilizer plants, petrochemical and power project complexes.
Fabrication of U-Tubes for Heat-Exchangers Spans at extremely Short Delivery time, even Extra long (23 mts.) is M.J. Patel's specialty. Tube Bending as per TEMA. Tubes to any specification and any length can be supplied in extremely short time due to our wide Mother Tube Stocks.

Minisonic ISD detects the changes of products in a pipeline by measuring the speed of sound. The speed of sound is a precise specification of the product and has a correlation to density or concentration.
Minisonic ISD is also a detector of the passage of pigs and spheres in a pipeline by the analysis of the acoustic signal.
The measurement of the speed of sound depends on the temperature and pressure conditions, so it is necessary to use a numeric corrector to obtain the real measurements.
The Minisonic ISD is available in a standard or explosion proof model.
