With BL ident the user is free to choose interface modules in IP20 or IP67.
Interface modules with PROFINET-DP (DPV0 and DPV1), DeviceNet, Ethernet/Modbus TCP/IP, Ethernet/Profinet and Ethernet/IP with up to 8 channels are available.
Programmable gateways enable decentral and fast signal processing.
The modular concept allows the user to add input and output modules to the interface at a later stage.
All channels operate in parallel allowing data to be transmitted simultaneously.
The diagnostics for the fieldbus, the supply voltage and the individual channels is carried out via LEDs and complemented by fieldbus-specific diagnostic messages.
Standard function modules are available for simple integration in the control and fieldbus environments.
The application of the BL ident simple module (BL20-2RFID-S, BL67-2RFID-S) is also possible. This way the communication is built on the basis of an 8-byte I/O module. The programming effort is reduced considerably. The user has the freedom to link BL ident to all standard control systems without using function modules. |

Memory Card Explorer ("MCE" & "MCE/NT") is a graphical Windows software package which provides direct access to the data stored in flash, SRAM and ATA PCMCIA memory PC Cards. It allows the binary "image" of the card data to be saved to or loaded from the hard disk drive in simple and fast operations. Data between any two address blocks can be copied and edited.
The format of the data on the card is unimportant - it could be a TFFS style format, or it could be a proprietary format written by a logger or portable instrument, or it could contain a mixture of formats. In all cases MCE can access the data. Also included is a card viewer that allows direct hex display of the data on the card. |

The ifm temperature sensors are based on a PT 1000 which converts the measured quantity of temperature into a signal as a result of the change in resistance. A microprocessor controls the evaluation of the electrical signal. For the efector 600 the system temperature is directly indicated on the unit by an LED display.
The electronic circuitry is made in film technology, i.e. a flexible, temperature-stable and extremely resistant polyimide film is used as a carrier for the SMD components. In conjunction with a special potting compound this leads to a high shock and vibration resistance. The microprocessor and the display make the handling of the efector 600 very simple. By means of programming buttons the values for switch point, hysteresis, switching frequency and delay time can be set electronically without the system temperature being present. This enables the installation of the efector 600 in a few minutes. The values are saved in an EEPROM independently of the supply voltage. |

OPTISPARK is the integrated control system developed in cooperation with Cannon AUTOMATA. It consists of two sections: an integrated control system and the user panel (Human Machine Interface).
The integrated control system performs many functions usually carried out by several components such as steam pressure, water level, alarm data acquisition, and it sees to thermal efficiency with the aid of the most advanced control systems: combustion control through electronic cams, control of the oxygen trim, of the flue gas re-circulation and of the air fan by means of an inverter.
The H.M.I. features are: synoptic screens with multi-language
texts; high-resolution colour touch screen display; real-time and historical tracking of selected process trends; alarm reports log; navigator system; multilanguage editor.
OPTISPARK connects to the modern communications systems: it sends SMS and e-mail in case of alarms event; it is displayed on both the Intranet and the Internet; it connects to supervision systems via OPC server.
