The ceprox/TLS 250 optical sensor is a diffuse-reflective sensor with intelligent signal processing. By using microprocessor technology in a miniaturized sensor, the detection range is automatically controlled. The sensor adapts automatically to its surroundings and suppresses signals reflected from the background. Builtin indicators aid in implementation and
help with trouble-shooting.
The spherical design is extremely compact and enables alignment of the sensor on all axes over a large angular field. Customer-specific or standard mounting brackets simplify installation.

The IS-120 series comprises optoelectronic transducers for use as light sensors (energetic or with background suppression) or as reflection optical barriers. Light professional transmitter and receiver are both mounted in the same housing. The emitting diode emits radiation with a wavelength of 660 nm with red-light switches or. 880 nm with infrared switches. When hitting the detected object the pulsed light is reflected diffusely and partially impinges on the receiver. With energetic sensors the received energy is evaluated whereby the possible sensing distance is dependent on the colour/reflection characteristics and dimension/design of the object. By using sensors with background suppression the angle of incidence is evaluated and thus the sensing distance is to a great extent independent of the object’s characteristics. For example, these sensors are applicable to detect objects in front of bright or strongly reflecting surfaces.

CX-400 diffuse reflective type
Eight diffuse reflective sensor types are available. Four use the triangulation measurement principle with foreground and background suppression (CX-440 series). The through beam light sensor ceprox/ELS 264 is a simple and very cost effective sensor for detection of any kind of object in handling stations or automated machinery.
ceprox/ELS 264 through beam detection have a very compact design and can be easily integrated into areas where space is limited. Through the utilization of the latest technology, the ceprox/ELS 264 through beam sensor operates dependably and trouble-free.
The function of the through beam sensor itself is not influenced even by the maximum amount of sunlight (about 100'000 Lux). Because of the compact size of the sensor head of ELS 264, the simple “snap in” mechanism as well as the wide aperture angle, installation is incredibly easy.

The SpaceMaster series consists of a wide selection of self-contained photoelectric sensors all housed in cylindrical (tubular) housings of different dimensions. These include industry standard Ø10, M12, M18 and snap-in 12.7 mm cylindrical housings which are all available with either a cable or plug connection. The series offers a selection of operation modes, which include thru beam (separate professional transmitter and professional receiver), diffuse proximity, retro-reflective, and fibre sensor.
The series offers a choice between AC or DC supply voltage, and the output can be chosen between a transistor or solid state output. All the transmitter models include a test input that may be used for either disabling or enabling the transmitting power temporarily for test purposes or multiplexing applications. The DC models are all protected against reverse polarity of supplies, control input and output signals. The output is protected against short circuit and inductive loads. The complete series includes power-on and output indicators. Sensitivity can either be adjusted via an integral potentiometer manufacturers or via a control wire input, depending on the selected model. |
