An order-picker is used in warehouses to prepare orders as part of a logistic process. They support pallet forks and a place for the operator. Using the order-picker, the operator can be raised into the storage racks to gather the items required and put them onto the pallet. Different size machines are available to allow for low level or high level order picking. An order-picker can be controlled as a ride-on or as a walk along machine.

Applications

The order-pickers are used in warehouses to gather an order together. The machines vary in size and can be used for either high or low level applicaitons.

Technologies

Electric driven the order-picker allows the operator to manually pick his order from the storage racks. The pallet is picked up and kept on the frontal forks during operation. The operator remains at the same level as the forks allowing for full visibility and easy access to the pallet at all times. The operator can be located either enclosed in a reinforced cabin or on an open platform behind the pallet forks.

How to choose

The height of the storage racks and the maximum loads to be gathered are important factors.
