Model 4086AWG is a laboratory grade synthesized function generator with arbitrary capability. Direct digital synthesis (DDS) techniques are used to create stable, accurate output signals for all 27 built-in standard and complex (arbitrary) waveforms as well as custom arbitrary waveforms. The 4086AWG produces high purity, low distortion sine waves up to 80 MHz, square waves up to 40 MHz and provides extensive analog modulation capabilities including AM, FM, FSK, PSK, pulse modulation, burst mode and linear/logarithmic sweep combined with multiple trigger modes. The B K Precision Model 4017B DDS Sweep/Function Generator is a versatile signal source which combines several functions into one unit including waveform generator, pulse generation (through variable symmetry), frequency sweep and frequency counter.
The heart of the function generator is a DDS based system that produces precision timing for sine, square, or triangle wave generation with frequencies between 0.01 Hz and 10 MHz. A continuously variable offset allows the output to be injected directly into circuits at the correct bias level.

The DDS3-PC is a 12 MHz synthesizer that comes in PC card format and uses direct digital synthesis to produce low-noise sinusoidal signals. The DDS3-PC series produces simultaneous sine and clock signals (ACMOS/TTL) that can be set from 2 Hz to 12 MHz in 2 Hz steps. The DDS3-PCs are fast instruments that allow the frequency to be changed in approximately 1 ms to 10 ms. (Frequency switching time is limited only by ISA bus speed). The user can automatically sweep through a set of frequency, attenuation, and dwell time settings.
