The Aeroflex Broadband Signal and Environment Generator (BSG) family provides the widest bandwidth and deepest memory RF/baseband signal sources available today. The BSG combines a very deep memory, very high-speed arbitrary waveform generator and a broadband RF up converter with powerful signal generation software.

The T564 is Highland Technology's latest in its series of mini embedded digital delay generators. Starting with an internal or external trigger, the module produces four output pulses programmable for delay and width, with nanosecond-to-second range and picosecond jitter and resolution. The T564 introduces three unique features to digital delay generation: "Queued Updates" allow time settings to be changed without corrupting ongoing timings; a "Train" function allows multiple pulses to be generated from each trigger; and the "Frames" feature allows complex delay sweeps and pulse scenarios to be pre-loaded and rapidly executed, making the T564 ideal for laser timing, radar simulation, and ultra-high-speed imaging.
The T560-1 is the standard, packaged version, usable in many OEM applications and as the evaluation unit for custom versions. It uses the technology developed for the Highland model V851 (VME module) and P400 (benchtop) digital delay generators, with basic TTL/CMOS input and output levels and advanced logic.
The T560 accepts an internal or external trigger and generates four precise output pulses, each user programmable in time delay and width. The V350 is a four-channel VME-module analog/digital function generator that generates arbitrary waveshapes synchronized with logic-level outputs, as might be used in control systems or radar simulation, or other COTS applications.
Each V350 channel generates one 12-bit analog waveform and up to four digital outputs by scanning sequential data points stored in user-loadable memory. Outputs are processed by digital-to-analog converters, smoothing filters, and output amplifiers.
Output stage multiplexing allows flexible configuration, and channels may operate independently or may be synchronized within a module or across modules.
Control and waveform generation operate at full 40-MHz rate or programmed sub-multiples. An option allows waveform generation synchronous to an external trigger without the jitter resulting from quantization to the local clock.
Each channel has 1 Mword of waveform memory controlled through a 512-block command table that includes Play, Delay, Wait, and Stop commands, conditional jump, and flag control.

The P400 is a benchtop digital delay and pulse generator that generates four separately programmable delay-and-width outputs. The P400 can generate delays up to 1000 seconds in 1ps increments, and is capable of a high repetition rate of 10MHz. Applications for the P400 include laser timing, ICCD camera systems, ATE systems, and radar testing.
Triggering - P400 triggers include internal, external, remote, or line. The internal DDS rate generator may be programmed from 0.01Hz to 10MHz in 0.01Hz steps. The external trigger features selectable trigger level, slope, and termination impedance. Line trigger is enabled via an external AC line adaptor. The P400 may also be triggered manually or from the remote RS-232 or Ethernet interfaces. Trigger gating and burst facilities are standard.
Timebase - The standard P400 timebase is a precision TCXO temperature-compensated crystal oscillator. An optional ovenized oscillator is available for applications requiring extreme accuracy and lowest jitter. Mutiple P400s may be synchronized to each other, or locked to an external 10 MHz source.

Model 725 Multi-Trigger Digital Delay Generator
Researchers and system integrators, needing controls and diagnostics for their experiments and systems, are regularly forced to build from scratch or to piece together several boxes. Many hours are spent learning the idiosyncrasies of each box and how to properly couple boxes to each other. Each box has its own programming protocol. Valuable time is lost to tracking connections, taming noisy signals, adjusting timing on multiple boxes and other aggravating chores. Now one box will eliminate much of this.

Generating E- and H-fields orthogonally in a ratio and conformation typical of free space, the AT5000 adds a new and needed dimension to shielded room or anechoic chamber testing.
Essentially a 2.4 x 1 meter section of parallel conductor transmission line, the AT5000 offers the 377-ohm wave impedance of free space and extends the frequency range of field generators nearly two octaves - to 100 MHz.
The open area between conductors accommodates entire assemblies within the maximum field volume. Test items too large for insertion between the elements can be brought near the parallel conductors and radiated - the AT5000 easily rotates to any horizontal, vertical or diagonal position.
The AT5000M3 version comes with a special stand which allows rotation of the field generator in three axis as well as height adjustment. Rotation accommodates test items that can't fit between conductors.
