* Synchronisation to multi-board system possible
* Synchronous digital channels and ABA mode available as an option
The both cards of the M2i.40x8 series combine fast A/D data acquistion with the feature to acquire digital data in parallel. With this feature it is possible to either acquire 16 digital bit in parallel from one or more angle decoders or acquiring one or two encoder signals directly by using internal counters. Digital data is either stored continuously and synchronously with the analog data or as an angle marker with each data segment (Option Mutliple Recording needed).
Digital data can be either acquired fully in parallel or as a combination of a counter input and parallel digital data. The acquisition
mode can be programmed by software.
When operating in continuous mode the analog and digital data is stored alternating in the on-board memory. For each 14 bit analog sample there is one corresponding 16 bit digital sample.
When operating in segmented marker mode there is one 16 bit digital sample stored at the end of each acquired segment holding the azimuth
and elevation angle for this segment of analog data.
Acquisition can run with full sampling speed independant of the selected mode.

The MC.30xx series offer a wide range of very fast 12 bit A/D converter boards for CompactPCI 6U bus. Due to the well-planned design these boards are available in several versions and different speed grades. That makes it possible for the user to find a individual solution.
These boards offer one to four channels with a maximum sam-plerate of 200 MS/s. As an option 4 digital inputs per channel could be recorded synchronously. The installed memory of up to 256 MSample will be used for fast data recording. It can completely be used by the currently active channels. If using slower samplerates the memory is switched to a FIFO buffer and data will be transferred online to the PC memory or to hard disk.
Several boards of the MC.xxxx series may be connected together by the internal standard synchronisation bus to work with the same time base.

The lightning fast Thermo Scientific AutoEXEC flow computer and remote telemetry unit integrates measurement and control functionality for both natural gas and petroleum liquids. This highly accurate hybrid system efficiently calculates flow on four to 32 runs at an unprecedented rate of 10 times per second. It features unsurpassed expandability, USB connectivity and security, giving users unbeatable flexibility and functionality.
Powered by a 32-bit processor, the AutoEXEC natural gas and petroleum liquids flow computer operates at greater than 300 million instructions per second (MIPS), making it the fastest flow computer on the market today. This computational speed, in combination with its 32-bit floating point capabilities, give the system unequalled power. It solves complicated AGA and API equations rapidly and accurately on up to 32 runs simultaneously.
The AutoEXEC features:
- A preloaded default configuration
- USB connectivity via three ports: host, slave-device and on-the-go (OTG)
- Secure access controls, authentication and built-in encryption.
- Built-in lightning protection on each board.
- A processor that operates at the widest temperature range in the industry: -40 C (-40 F) to 85 C (185 F).
- AO accuracies of ±0.1% over the full temperature range.
The standard AutoEXEC includes a CPU board, power supply and an enclosure with six available board slots. Optional boards can be added to increase input/output as necessary and each board has its own 32-bit ARM 7 industrial grade processor, enabling the most rapid communication to the motherboard.

The flowcom compensates for flowmeter errors due to pressure or temperature variations and computes mass or standard volume flow rates for gases, steam or liquids. It can even do so for a pair monitoring stations. It also computes heat transfer rates and thermal-energy contents for heat transfer media or refrigerants.
As a two channel version, the flowcom can calculate balances between supply and return lines.
A particular advantage of the flowcom: It does not operate based on problematic equations, but integrates a number of permanently stored tables of the mass densities and enthalpies of commonly employed media.
Flowcom will compensate the infloence of temperature and pressure on virtually each flowmeter such as integrating pitot tubes, orifices, venturis, vortex meters, mag meters, ultrasonic flowmeters, PD-meters…
The flowcom communications software runs under Windows.
