Over the course of more than 40 years, Elliott has designed and built thousands of high-efficiency axial compressors. Elliott axial compressors are ideally suited for high flow, low pressure applications including fluid catalytic cracker service, air separation, blast furnaces, wind tunnels and synthetic fuel processes.
The efficiency and reliability of Elliott’s axial compressors is the result of rigorous, state-of-the-art engineering and testing. We use controlled diffusion technology for rotor blade airfoil designs, resulting in maximum efficiency across a wide operating range for substantial energy savings. We ensure long blade life and reliability through extensive use of Goodman and Campbell diagrams, finite element analysis, strain gauging and laboratory frequency tests. With computerized rotor dynamics programs, we analyze the complete lateral and torsional responses of each axial rotor and rotor support system.

SULLAIR has extended the SMART PRESSURE range.
Practical experience, and customer feed back have all been taken into consideration in the new Pac 80E. With the economy of somany countries currently struggling, this new product will provide the ability to carry out some jobs without the expense of traditional compressors and tools. Smart Pressure range utilise an alternative pressure to the most common 6-7Bar compressors and hand held tools. Engine size has also been reduced from the common 20-30hp diesel engine to a 6.5hp petrol engine. Footprint size has been drastically reduced, so much so that it will now easily fit into a small van or hatchback car. Fuel economy is greatly
enhanced, thereby reducing the daily running costs.
The Smart Pressure range of tools includes a 22kg Paving Breaker, 10kg Demolition Tool, and now a 5kg chipping hammer. All produce power, and production performance equivalent to the same sized standard pressure tools. In addition, and to help protect the operator, Vibration is significantly reduced. Storage, when not in use has been enhanced by having the ability to be stacked, again an important issue for Rental
Companies. It is, for certain, that the standard pressure range of portable compressors and tools will continue from Sullair. Screw compressors produce the required air delivery, which is stored in a compressed air receiver. This compressed air is then compressed to the required 40 bar operating pressure by booster compressors and is then stored in a high-pressure receiver.
Except for the screw compressor fitted upstream, the complete FLEXPET system with booster(s), switch cabinet, adsorption dryer, receivers and high-pressure filters is fitted firmly onto the base-frame and comes completely wired and piped.
