The MM1 is a computer-controlled machine that automates the cutting of profiles, holes, nozzles and shapes on pipe with diameters from 4" to 16" (100-400 cm). Die cutter is designated for cutting out different patterns from hard foils, cardboard and paper. It can also be used for cutting out die stampings, from foils obtained in the vacuum forming process, by means of band punching dies placed on the plywood. It enables the so-called cardboard bending (making incisions) and perforation used in the production of foil and cardboard packing.
Two types of die cutter shafts are used: either two steel shafts or an upper shaft covered with a special material.
Using the first type of shafts, the material that is to be cut out and a separator made of a special plastic is placed on the punching die, which is a very impractical solution for large sizes of cut-out elements.
Using the second type of shafts punching die with a cut-out material is placed directly between die cutter shafts. This method increases the output of the machine. Die cutter shafts are driven by transmission belt, which enables noiseless and steady work.

The DCM boasts a fully automatic load and unload mechanism that can handle up to a half ton of corrugated material. 3 axial precision cut-off grinding machine
For materials which are delicate and difficult to machine, such as glass, ceramic and composite materials, but also plastics, steel and non-ferrous metals.
The cutting procedure takes place in several steps governed by defined motions in the Z axis in combination with continuous X stroke (cut-off stroke). Severals consecutive cuts can be made (Y axis).
Very hard material textures can be cut to quality standards, thanks to adjustable machining parameters such as cutting disk speed, X feed velocity, Z motion, selective dry or wet cutting etc.

With the WOLFANGEL® Vario Cutter it is possible to cut the fibres with a speed up to 20 m/sec. The length of the fibres can be changed during the cutting process at full speed.
