Imagine a rooftop with several mobile radio systems and a TV professional transmitter nearby. How can you tell what each system is contributing to the overall field exposure level? When it comes to different areas such as occupational safety, the general public and the home, the relevant field levels can vary. Which field sources are at stake? What is the corresponding fieldstrength?
The SRM-3000 answers these questions, directly on site. With its triaxial probe, the SRM-3000 measures the electromagnetic field selectively, by service and frequency, regardless of where the radiation is coming from. You can view the results as a field strength or as a percent of the legal limit. It provides an immediate summary of all sources with their field strengths, right on the spot.
Narda’s Selective Radiation Meter SRM-3000 is highly portable, battery-powered and immune to interference so you can take it with you wherever you go. It covers the frequency range of main interest from FM radio to 3rd generation mobile radio systems. The SRM evaluates the field strengths it measures in accordance with the applicable regulations, and delivers results as a field strength level or as a percent of the legal limit. No PC is required for this operation. |

| Product quality, output and yield of manufacturing processes can be improved considerably when problems related to static electricity are identified and dealt with effectively. Electrostatic fieldmeters are appropriate measuring tools to simply identify static electricity problems. |
|
Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) is the disruption caused by an electromagnetic field. EMI can cause equipment lock-up, sensor parametric errors, undesirable process variations, erratic response, software errors, and even component damage.

The Narda Broadband Field Meter NBM-550 has been designed to measure electromagnetic field strengths in the vicinity of industrial transmitters and industrial centers, and to evaluate and record the results in the context of human safety standards. Particular attention has been paid to ease of use. The instrument can be operated with one hand by anyone – left-handed or right-handed. The probes are isotropic, i.e. equally sensitive in all directions, so users do not need to worry about the direction the radiation is coming from.
The result data memory holds up to 5000 results along with date and time information. A GPS receiver (option) plugged into the basic unit and connected via USB gives the NBM the capability to store position data for each measurement. Instead of handwritten notes, voice comments can also be recorded. All the data can be uploaded to a PC and managed using the PC software supplied with the instrument. Measurement reports are therefore very easy to generate.
The basic unit and the probes are separately calibrated at the factory. The probe calibration data are stored in an EPROM in the probe itself. The NMB basic unit retrieves this automatically via the intelligent probe interface, and takes it into account in the results. |

The Electric Field Meter EM03 is a small, compact unit for measuring static electrical charges with digital display in Volts. The mode of function of the instrument is based on the influence principle.
When measuring static charges, the distance between the instrument and the object is selectable between 1 and 20 cm.
The integrated micro-computer automatically converts the measured field strength over the preselected measuring distance (distance between test object and measurement electrode) into Volt, allowing charges up to 200 kV to be measured. |

MOLTEN METAL TEMPERATURE INDICATOR
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
Libratherm offers microcontroller based Molten Metal Temperature Indicator model LMI-2010, which is designed to accurately measure temperature of the molten metals, both ferrous and non ferrous. The measurement of this temperature is a critical process, since the expendable thermocouple manufacturers is dipped for merely 3 to 4 seconds and then withdrawn. In this short measurement time, the operator is guided through the measurement cycle by audio/visual alarms for thermocouple continuity, measurement in progress and measurement over. Any error in measurement or thermocouple open condition is also immediately detected by activating the audio/visual alarm.
User can select the desired type of thermocouple (either K, R, S, or B type, (depending upon the measuring range from 1200 to 1800oC), and can also set other parameters using front panel key board. During measurement, the indicator ignores the slag temperature and the Average or Plateau reading is determined using the advanced algorithm and the same is latched and displayed on the bright 7 segment 2” LED display. This reading can also be displayed on 4” remote display LRU-2010 and can be logged on to a computer using serial RS485 MODBUS RTU protocol for recording and analysis purpose. Libratherm offers supporting window based software.

| Measurement Professional computing Corporation, a market leader in low-cost manufacturers of data acquisition, has announced the release of two Web-enabled temperature input devices, the WEB-TEMP and the WEB-TC, which allow users to take measurements and monitor them via the Internet. The new products, modeled after MCC’s popular USB-TEMP and the USB-TC products, have corresponding performance, but are Ethernet compatible with built-in Web professional servers that write temperature data to their own Web page for immediate Internet access from virtually everywhere! The WEB-TEMP provides eight temperature input channels, each supporting all of the common temperature sensors manufacturers (J, K, R, S, T, N, E, and B supplier of thermocouples; 2-, 3-, or 4-wire RTDs; thermistors, and semiconductor temperature sensors), and 8 bits of digital I/O. Each channel of the WEB-TEMP is capable of monitoring any of the supported input types, so users can mix and match the sensor to the measurement without additional signal conditioning. Moreover, the internal measurement electronics accuracy of the WEB-TEMP vastly exceeds the accuracy specifications of the temperature sensors, thereby recording the most accurate data possible. The WEB-TC specifications are similar to those of the WEB-TEMP, but support thermocouple sensors only. All eight WEB-TEMP (or WEB-TC) inputs have 500 VDC isolation to the power dispensing and Ethernet port, protecting both the computer and the input device from damage. The WEB-TEMP and WEB-TC ship with an impressive array of software included in the MCC DAQ Software CD. The disk includes applications, drivers, and libraries that meet the needs of programmers and nonprogrammers alike. |
