VARISORT CME-P - Combined colour and metal separation system for plastics recycling applications (material fed by conveyor)
The VARISORT CME-P combined colour and metal separator is designed for use in the plastics recycling industry to remove metal (cans, foil-lined Tetrapaks etc) and off-colour contaminants (bottles, cups etc) from plastic bulk materials. The material to be inspected is spread out on a fast-moving conveyor so that the pieces are optimally individualised before they reach the inspection area of the multi-channel metal detector. If a contaminant is detected its exact location is determined. Electronics evaluate this position and ejection nozzles are activated with pinpoint accuracy and at precisely the right time to blow out the contaminant. The ejection nozzles are so precise that the metal and off-colour contaminants are removed with very little loss of good material and without any interruption to the material flow.
Advantages:
• removes metal, metal composites and inclusions
• removes contaminants with pinpoint accuracy
• modular design
• evaluation of the entire visible light spectrum
• self-teaching evaluation electronics
Typical applications:
• removes cans from lightweight packaging
• removes off-colour plastic bottles
• removes metals/off-colours from specialized plastics

MAG 4300 ME-P - Metal separation system for plastics recycling applications
The MAG 4300 series of metal separators, used in the plastics industry, removes metal contaminants eg aluminium, steel or stainless steel from regranulate. The flow of regranulate is widened on an external feeder and reaches the glass slide where the pieces are further individualised before continuing into the inspection area of the multi-channel metal detector. If a metal contaminant is detected microprocessors determine its exact location. Electronics evaluate this position and ejection nozzles are activated with pinpoint accuracy and at precisely the right time to blow out the contaminant. The ejection nozzles are so precise that the metal contaminants are removed with very little loss of good material. The rest of the material, free of metal contaminants, then continues along the conveyor.
Advantages:
• removes all types of metal, including stainless steel
• removes metal, metal composites and inclusions
• removes contaminants with pinpoint accuracy
• modular design
Typical applications:
• removes pump dispenser springs and balls from PET flakes
• removes aluminium from HD-PE flakes
• removes stainless steel from PVC window regranulate

SPEKTRUM CE-P
Off-colour separation system for plastics recycling applications
Spektrum colour separation systems remove off-colours from a flow of plastic bulk materials. The material to be inspected is spread out on a conveyor and reaches the glass slide where the pieces are further individualised before continuing into the inspection area of the CCD linear camera. If an off-colour contaminant is detected its exact location is determined. Electronics evaluate this position and ejection nozzles are activated with pinpoint accuracy and at precisely the right time to blow out the contaminant. The ejection nozzles are so precise that the metal particles are removed with very little loss of good material and without any interruption to the material flow.

Recycling lines
The CR recycling machines built by Carnevalli were designed to process flexible plastic materials , aiming the best cost-benefit ratio, such as : HDPE,LDPE,LLDPE< PP, and many other.
The main goal of these machines is to meet the need of flexible packaging manufacturers to process and recycle their own waste or scrap originated by their converting processes and also to those companies dedicated to the sole purpose of re-granulating these wastes to sub supply plastic processing companies.
All sizes of CR machines are fitted with degassing systems to allow recycling of printed materials.

Recycling Lines:
Recycling lines to reclaim plastic out of waste like oriented HDPE/PP Tapes, cuttings of woven fabric, industrial plastic wastes and general purpose wastes like LDPE/LLDPE/ HIPS/PP/HDPE/Polyester etc.

C inserts are recommended for thermoset or thermoplastic applications. Their geometric shape and sharp pointed barbs eliminate any danger of the moulded bosses splitting on installation or when tightening of the mating screw occurs. The wall thickness of bosses should generally be at least one half of the insert diameter. Different materials may require slight modifications to the hole dimensions stated above and it is essential that the hole depth is sufficient to allow the screw to pass completely through the insert to achieve optimum performance. The head provides the useful feature of eliminating jack-out loads when used with a mating part which has a larger hole than the standard insert diameter. It can also be used as a contact point for electrical terminations.
