Aalborg®'s multi-parameter PWE Enhanced Digital Paddle Wheel Flow Meters offer cost-effective solutions to medium flow liquid applications. Password-protected access to process parameters eliminates user-tampering or resetting. Flow rates can be displayed in 23 different volumetric or mass flow engineering units. In addition, flow meter parameters and functions can now be programmed locally via optional key pad and LCD or remotely via RS-232/RS-485 interface.
Simple in design with only one moving part, these units are easy to install & operate. Sapphire jewel bearings facilitate virtually friction-free impeller wheel rotations resulting in linear medium flow metering. PWE supports various functions including two independently programmable flow totalizers, self-diagnostic alarm, flow pulse output, and analog 0-5Vdc or 4-20 mA output flow & temperature signals.
Models constructed of Polypropylene or chemically-resistant PVDF can be mounted either horizontally or vertically. Designed for measuring highly accurate temperature readings, PWE Digital Paddle Wheel Meters are ideally suited to many flow system applications. Durable materials of construction ensure long operational life.
Enhanced Features
- Free communication software with temperature and flow data logging capability.
- Flow metering accuracy (inc. linearity) ±1% FS.
- Temperature accuracy (inc. linearity) ±0.5 ºC.
- Two sets of user-programmable optically-isolated outputs.
- Available with/without local key pad & 2x16 character LCD readout with adjustable back light which provide flow rate, total volume reading, diagnostic events indication, and protected access.

The contactless measurement and the lack of moving parts, allow a precise determination of the mass flow without any wear to the systems components. This outstanding advantage is applicable on various mechanical conveying systems like:
belt conveyors
screw conveyors
troughed chain conveyors
steel plate conveyors
bucket conveyors
free fall in chutes or pipes
This makes a radiometric bulk flow measuring system particularly interesting for various applications.

The C-LEVER® II by REMBE® sets the benchmarks in the field of industrial flow metering.
Its unique technique achieves an excellent accuracy of ± 0,25 % of the volumetric range for nearly all flowing bulk and solids.
The accuracy of the C-LEVER® II is almost independent from product, its density, form, friction and elasticity. Severe changes of flow and/or pulsations caused by rotary valves or screw feeders do not influence the accuracy.
Compared to conventional measuring systems - based on volume, speed or weight - the REMBE® system measures the product flow inline.
The C-LEVER® II is made without any mechanical moved parts (actuators, pivot bearings, belts). As a resulting from this no post calibration is required. All electronical components are mounted outside of the product flow.

Fuel flow meter DFM is a simple and easy-to-use fuel flow meter with electronic counter designed for measuring fuel consumption and engine operating time of vehicles, tractors, any mobile or fixed installations with diesel engines.
All readings are shown on the electronic display of the meter. Switching of indications is made by special contactless key.
There exist two modifications of fuel flow meter DFM: MT - monitoring of fuel consumption and engine operating time, T - monitoring of fuel consumption.
Fuel flow meter DFM is protected from overstatement of readings and intervention. Even if you try to blow the meter by air the fact of intervention will be registered.
Fuel flow meter DFM contains the following counters (* this counter is accessible only in MT version):

The Working Principle
Bulk material supplied from above passes a constant-
speed impeller wheel driven by a three-phase current
motor, diverting the material radially. The tangential
Coriolis force acting on the wheel blades causes drive
torque changes in proportion to the flow rate sensed by
a load cell. Based on torque and speed, the Congrav®
microcomputer computes the current flow rate, which is
both displayed and issued as a signal for recording or
control of a variable-speed upstream feeder (e.g.
screw feeder, rotary valve).
The Advantages
Ingredient characteristics
or height of fall do not
affect accuracy

There are two methods for the safe installation of flowmeters in hazardous areas. Either the electronics must be housed in heavy flame-proof enclosure with expensive armoured cable connections (Eexd/Flameproof) or the electronics can be intrinsically safe (IS). The preferable approach is that the flowmeter is intrinsically safe and is not capable of igniting volatile gases. A normal low-cost, non-armoured cable is used to connect the flow-meter to the safe environment where isolator barrier devices are installed. These devices limit the energy passing to the IS transmitter electronics.
