A Flexicon flexible screw conveyor, also known as a spiral conveying, screw conveyor, helix conveyor or centerless auger conveyor, consists of a spring steel or stainless steel, flexible screw that is enclosed in a flexible or rigid plastic tube, or a rigid steel tube, and driven by an electrical motor normally located at the discharge end of the conveyor. This simple design delivers efficient performance and high reliability while reducing maintenance and cost. When properly engineered according to the specific characteristics of the material being conveyed and the process into which it will be integrated, a flexible screw conveyor can outperform rigid screw conveyors, bucket lifts, drag chain conveyors, aero mechanical conveyors manufacturer and other equipment intended to transport powder and bulk solid materials.

| The MFX is a Flexible Helix Manufacturers of conveyor. Conveyor screw and external pipe can be bent without any negative effect on the function. The external pipe is manufactured from elastomer, whereas the screw consists of a number of flight segments in plastic for industrial use. The flight segments are enclosed by a metallic spiral and supported by a steel wire core. |
|
| Over the years Screw conveyors for specific purposes have been developed. Cement Screw Conveyors manufacturers and Feeders for concrete batching plants were the first to be industrialised in the early 1970s. Later came light-duty Flour Milling Screw Conveyors with synthetic maintenance-free intermediate suppliers of bearings. |
|
| The chief innovative concept of the system is based on the criterion of conveying metal chips through a straight collector tube impelled by a rotating screw operating along the entire lenght of the tube. |
|
The screw conveyor is the most commonly used equipment in mechanic conveyance and volumetric batching of solid powdered and granulated products. Versions available for suppliers of conveyors are the following:
- "U" section closed by a sealing cover.
- Tube section.
The professional seals on the end mountings are realized with a double ring; the chamber between the two rings can be pressurized. Any possible intermediate mountings may be realized with bushings of different special materials, in accordance with the type of product. The bushing can be flowed with compressed air.
The following versions are available:
- carbon steel
- stainless steel AISI 304 or AISI 316
The drive is supplied by geared motor and chain transmission.
Also available in compliance with ATEX Directives - Category 2GD/3GD. |

High Accuracy Single Axis Supplier of actuator BG Type
NB's BG Type is a compact single axis actuator which integrates a Professional slide Guide and Precision Manufacturer of ball screw. BG Type offers compact dimensions, which outperforms conventional positioning stages. This is made possible by a unique "U" shaped Guide Rail and Slide Block which provides multiple functions of a Guide Block and a Ball Screw Nut combined into a single unit. The "U" shaped Guide Rail design offers a high rigid structure resistant to bending. This structural feature allows for integrated frameworks of machinery or equipment. Additionally, the Slide Block contains 4 ball circuits which delivers high load capacity, high accuracy and high rigidity.

Linear movement has traditionally required separate components to handle both drive and support/guidance. The patented Kerk® ScrewRail combines both functions in a single, coaxial component. By eliminating the need for external rail-to-screw alignment, the ScrewRail simplifies the design, manufacture and assembly of motion systems. The ScrewRails coaxial design saves as much as 80% of the space used by a two-rail system and is generally less expensive than the equivalent components purchased separately. The savings can be substantial due to lower component costs and reduced labor.
An added benefit is the ability to get three-dimensional motion from a single ScrewRail. When mounted vertically, the ScrewRail can be used to simultaneously lift and rotate (Z-theta motion). With one motor driving the screw and a second rotating the rail, a compact, self-supporting pick and place mechanism can be created.
The ScrewRail Linear actuator manufacturers consists of a precision rolled leadscrew, supported by sealed manufacturers of bearings and contained within a concentric steel guide rail, driving an integrated nut/bushing. Because all the alignment requirements are achieved within the ScrewRail, support and positioning of the ScrewRail is much less critical than with traditional slide assemblies. Kerkote® TFE coating and self-lubricating nut/bushing materials ensure long life without maintenance.

Rectilinear Motion Enabled With A Round Shaft
The NB Industrial slide Screw is a unique drive unit which makes efficient use of friction to convert rotary motion to linear movement. This unit is a very simple mechanism containing only radial bearings in contact with a shaft, providing ease of maintenance. Even if an accident occurs, this unit slips on the shaft, stopping itself to prevent further damage. The unit is applicable to a wide variety of devices by fully utilizing its features, although while accurate positioning would require an extra control.

With the KSE 100 NELSON stud splicer
technology has once again proven how
practical applications for welding systems
can be developed at our Gevelsberg
facility. The new servo-electric technology
offers enormous advantages in many
areas of application. For example the
servo-electric operated welding head
ensures that all movement during the
welding process is carried out in a
controlled manner even in especially
demanding welding situations. As usual
all components in the KSE 100 system are
of modular design and fully compatible
with one another. |
