Vertical Reciprocating Conveyors move materials in factories, warehouses, industrial plants, institutions or anywhere that products or supplies need to move from one level to another. Vertical Reciprocating Conveyors are not elevators. In fact, they have their own national code (ANSI/ASME B20.1) and are specifically exempt from the national elevator code. Vertical Reciprocating Conveyors provide fast, efficient, convenient and safe access to/from mezzanines, balconies, basements, and between levels in multiple story buildings. They can be installed for through-floor, interior or exterior applications. The principal components of Vertical Reciprocating Conveyors include guide columns, carriage and a mechanical or hydraulic actuating mechanism.

Rapid Lift 4 - Vertical Chain Lift
The Rapid Lift 4 is a continuous 4-strand chain lift with the versatility to meet your needs. Dependable and durable, this conveyor provides many standard features that are additional cost in other similar units.
This system is custom designed to maximize confined factory floor space. It is primarily used as the critical link for interrupted conveyor flow, as well as, transporting products to various levels up to 80 feet high and speeds of up to 100 FPM.

-Velmex now makes UniSlide® Assemblies with dual sliders. These units are useful in application when two objects must share a common axis of motion. In addition, when a left and right hand thread lead screw is specified, the reciprocating action moves the objects together or apart. Uses for this type of motion include centering or mating operations for manufacturing or testing. Guide forks can be mounted to the UniSlide to insure roll goods of different widths are centered precisely. Assemblies are manual or motor driven. Independently driven lead screws are also available.

The HORIZONTAL AXIS model is the most common version, It is indispensable when workpieces are to be ground on the end faces, in which case the length is the prevailing dimension, to a very close tolerance for squareness of the surface to be ground to the outside diameter (for example an engine valves or die punches).
DOUBLE RECIPROCATING FEED:
Workpieces are clamped on a horizontal table performing a reciprocating movement and carried between the wheels, which are set in the selected finish position. The grinding cycle is accomplished through a roughing operation during the inward stroke of the table and a finishing operation during the backward stroke.
When the stock is heavier, it is progressively removed by a combination plunge cycle of the wheelhead and the reciprocating feed on the table.

The Hybrid RG design is suitable for applications to produce high pressure steam or hot water in ranges from 3,450 - 60,000 lbs/hr (3.4 mm BTU - 60 mm BTU) output from 100 up to 400 PSI. This system is designed by HBC to combine the best technologies from the "old school" of biomass combustion and the latest advanced combustion control technologies. The new HBC reciprocating grate-type stoker system permits biomass fuels with a high proportion of incombustibles to be combusted in an efficient manner with the added advantage of automatic de-ashing. This combination is particularly suitable for heating applications in lumber dry kilns, veneer log vats, veneer dryers, greenhouses, factories, schools and office buildings. This combination enables these systems to provide a flexible and reliable operation utilizing a consistent "grade" of biomass waste with moisture contents ranging from 30 - 50%. The boiler vessel is a two pass hybrid design incorporating a water tubed boiler-type water membrane and a two-pass fire tube scotch marine vessel. This vessel's advantages over standard water tube boilers include much larger steam disengagement area providing high quality steam, larger steam storage capability for quicker response to sudden steam demand and much larger thermal storage that provides fast demand response times and safer operation.
