Flip Mirror Holder KSH 90
The swing leaf bears a wobble plate with an adjustment range of ± 0.5° and an aperture of 2". Optics with a thickness > 12 mm (normally 2" mirrors) are fixed with a plastic screw.
Optical components (such as mirrors and beam splitting paltes) having a thickness of only 10 mm can be pressed aganst three stops with the enclosed two clamping shoes and thus fixed.
The swing angle is 45°, the repeatability < 100 µrad. The swing time of the motorized version is about 1 s.
- for use with SYS 90
- black anodized aluminium alloy
- mountable onto pin or slide
- manual operation or motorized

The Laser Mech Lens Mounting System solves the problem of lens removal for replacement and inspection. By using a simple cartridge mounted lens inserted into a side slot in a permanently positioned manifold block, the problems of the traditional threaded, axially inserted lenses are avoided. This innovative mounting method allows removal and replacement of the lens in seconds with no readjustment of the optical alignment and without the removal, replacement or disassembly of any other part of the optical system.
Each assembly consists of a lens mount manifold block with very fine, adjustable lens centering screws and a spring-loaded, lens holder assembly to hold the lens. The lens holder contains all the seals necessary to pressurize the space beneath the lens for use with the Gas Jet Manifold.

ROLYN Mirror Mounts are designed to give the very best combination of economy and performance. There is no glass-to-glass contact. Clear aperture obscuration caused by the plastic mirror holders is minimal. These three holders form an adjustable rigid orthogonal kinematic mount for the mirror which resists vibration and handling. Black anodizing minimizes reflections. Mirrors are not supplied with the mount.

Most microscope objectives are optimized for the same object-to-image distance. This allows objectives to be interchanged without refocusing. Most Melles Griot objectives have an object-to-image distance of 195 mm because long focal lengths are required to maintain both the same image plane (150 mm from the mounting shoulder) and good image quality. All objectives are achromatic and have industry-standard microscope threads for cross compatibility.
The visible, infrared, and infinite-conjugate microscope objectives from Melles Griot are achromatic (i.e., color corrected at 656.3 nm and 486.1 nm). The RMS mounting thread (0.8 inch, 36 TPI) matches the industry standard making these objectives compatible with non- Melles Griot microscopes. Color coding makes identifying objective power easy when numerical markings cannot be seen. Visible objectives are antireflection coated for 400 to 700 nm; infrared objectives are antireflection coated for 1300 to 1500 nm.

Astrodon® tru-balance filters are the first filters designed to match the sensitivity of modern CCD cameras. Using filters matched with the detectors greatly simplifies all aspects of deep-sky tri-color imaging. Benefits include shorter imaging times, G2V white point balance, balanced OIII nebula color, and pre-balanced RGB channels when using Kodak Blue Plus CCDs.
They are an outgrowth of over a year and a half of research, published in Sky and Telescope and presented at AstroImage and Imaging the Sky conferences. The narrowband filters, H a, SII and OIII, allow you to image when the moon is up, thereby extending the amount of imaging time you have each month. Since they are parfocal with the LRGB filters, you can easily focus on the L or C filter and then switch to the narrowband filter WITHOUT refocusing.
