ULTRAMIC 600 Advanced Ceramic Heater
When you need a lot of power in a small package, the ULTRAMIC 600 puts the performance of advanced ceramics to work for you. Constructed of aluminum nitride (AlN), the ULTRAMIC 600 can operate up to 600°C (1112°F) and deliver ultra-fast ramping of up to 150°C (270°F) per second for rapid thermal cycling applications.
The robust mechanical structure of the high density AlN enable these heaters to exhibit exceptional mechanical stability throughout the temperature range. This makes the product especially suitable in applications where consistent part-to-part thermal contact during heating cycles is critical. Additionally, these heaters are applicable when requiring a clean, non-contaminating heat source as they are particle free, impervious to moisture and resistant to acidic attack.
Applications:
Semiconductor wire and die bonding
Analytical instrumentation
Medical devices

Ceramic fiber heaters intergrate a high temperature iron-chrome-aluminum (ICA) heating element wire with ceramic fiber insulation. Numerous stock, standard and/or custom shapes can be provided, achieving the "heated insulation" concept for your high temperature, non-contact applications. The ceramic fiber insulation isolates the high temperatures inside the heated chamber from the outside. The heaters are low mass, fast heating, with high insulation values and self-supported heating elements that offer some of the highest temperature heating capabilities within the Watlow family of heater designs.
Applications
High temperature furnaces
Metal melting, holding and transfer
Semiconductor processing
Glass, ceramic and wire processing
Analytical instrumentation
Fluidized beds

Fiber Insulated Heater Type FIH combines a heat source with superior high temperature insulation - an ideal solution for many industrial heating applications. These heaters deliver fast, efficient and reliable uniform heat to temperatures of 1100°C (2012°F). Designed to deliver power densities up to 1500 watts/ft2, FIH is one of the most versatile embedded element radiant heaters produced. OEM furnace and thermal process equipment manufacturers plus end users alike have embraced this combination heating and insulating system.
ZIRCAR Flat Panel, Full Cylinder and Semi-Cylinder Fiber Insulated Heaters Type FIH consist of high quality helically-wound Fe-Cr-Al alloy resistance wire elements embedded in a rigid body of vacuum formed high temperature refractory fiber. The lightweight ceramic fiber insulation has very low thermal mass and thermal conductivity and thus can handle extremely rapid cycling. Elements are typically mounted flush with the heated surface. The diameter of the helically wound element coil is kept to a minimum, reducing the difference between the element and chamber temperature, thus ensuring long heater life, and enabling the design and manufacture of extremely responsive heating systems.
All ZIRCAR Fiber Insulated Heaters are 100% organic free and will not smoke or outgas when heated. ZIRCAR Fiber Insulated Heaters are available in flat panel, full cylinder and semi-cylinder shapes - with several lead styles. |

Chesterton’s 1210 Ceramic Stationary Seal Face may be used with 891 and 440 rotary seals to form a dual mechanical seal. The 891 is the inboard seal exposed to the process fluid. The 440 is the secondary (outboard) seal that seals barrier fluid to the atmosphere.
Can supply variable barrier pressure through the unit.
Shields the environment from the pumped fluid.
Provides a clean fluid to the inboard seal faces.
Can operate as a pre-installed "stand-by" seal in the event of primary seal maintenance. |

| CERBEC balls are known worldwide for their extremely smooth surface finish. Our manufacturing process is totally dedicated to Si3N4 finishing. This focus yields surface finish typically < 0.10 micro inch (< 0.003 micron) consistently from batch to batch for the tens of millions of balls we produce annually. Reduced bearing friction from Si3N4 is a function of smooth surface finish - it must be done right all at the time. CERBEC balls have over 10 years' history of superior surface finish. |

Flex-Lag® Weld-On Ceramic
Eliminate the belt vibration and cleaner chatter often caused by ordinary weld-on lagging by installing Flex-Lag® Weld-OnCeramic Pulley Lagging. It features a new gutterless design with easily installed over-lapping segments. So the wide gaps between strips of conventional weld-on lagging products are eliminated.
Flex-Lag® Ceramic
When conventional rubber lagging fails to correct belt slippage, the solution is Flex-Lag® Ceramic Tile Lagging. Our Ceramic Tile Lagging features the highest coefficient of friction available in lagging materials - two to three times the friction of rubber in wet, muddy or dry conditions. |

Micro-arc oxidation (MAO) ceramic coating is a revolutionary method to produce hard and corrosion resistant ceramic coatings on Al, Mg, Ti and other light metals as well as their alloys. MAO method uses the effects of forming micro-arc plasma discharges on the surface of the parts treated in water electrolytic solution. Because of influences of these discharges on the parts, a multi-function protective ceramic coating forms with unique properties:
very high hardness (HV1000-2500); excellent wear resistance; excellent corrosion resistance; extremely high adhesion performance of the coating; dielectric property; high thermal shock resistance; ...
We can provide parts treated with such MAO technology, such as roller, shafts and other parts which require high abrasion wear resistance and corrosion resistance. |
