The ADPLC interfaces are a series of small instruments with microprocessor electronic for direct reading of any analog input using only two digital I/O lines, whatever PLC you have.
How to use ADPLC
The use of the ADPLC 'interface requires only a simple program made by the user for it's own PLC.
Interfacing for reading a single analog signal, the Programmable Logic Controller must output 16 clock pulses (CLOCK ADPLC input) at which the interface replies with 16 data bits (SDATA ADPLC output) that represent the direct reading of the analog signal.
For the simultaneous reading of two analog signals, 16 more clock pulses are required.
The ENABLE PLC input allows more devices to be interfaced in parallel mode.
Each model can be interfaced also to PLC's with relay outputs: in this case the interface itself provides the syncronization clock output.
Why ADPLC?
ADPLC is the only instrument on the market that can read an analog signal directly with one PLC digital input and ouput, without any analog interface on the PLC. So it is very profitable for little PLC's or when the analog inputs are remote. |

| There are two methods for the safe installation of flowmeters in hazardous areas. Either the electronics must be housed in heavy flame-proof enclosure with expensive armoured cable connections (Eexd/Flameproof) or the electronics can be intrinsically safe (IS). The preferable approach is that the flowmeter is intrinsically safe and is not capable of igniting volatile gases. A normal low-cost, non-armoured cable is used to connect the flow-meter to the safe environment where isolator barrier devices are installed. These devices limit the energy passing to the IS transmitter electronics. |

The major features are: the measurement is non-contact; the circular
path radius can be varied continuously from less than 1 mm to 150 mm;
all linear accuracy are traceable to NIST; the feed rate is up to 4 m/sec;
the data rate is up to 1000 Hz; and the actual feed rate, velocity, and
acceleration profiles can also be determined. This information are
important to determine the motion dynamics of the machine and the
servo performance. |

| The Series 4000 Capacitec® amplifiers and racks were designed to offer the best signal to noise ratio and wide band width response options in a simple modular package. The 4000 Series was built upon our 20 year proven foundation of 3000 Series amplifiers (3101-SP, 3200, 3201-SP) still in operation. Utilization of individual pins in a 32 pin DIN connector increases reliability for more industrial applications where vibrations are present. The small Euro-style 2U size boards have appeal for small portable packaging as well as high (but lightweight) density applications. When coupled with Capacitec® non-contact displacement probes, they produce a linear output voltage proportional to the gap spacing between the probe and a ground plane. The systems are designed to produce stable and reliable operation with excellent gain and zero shift stability with respect to changes in ambient temperature. Stability is achieved with a digitally derived sine-wave oscillator, having a crystal clock as the frequency reference. |
