VisionGauge® high-resolution cable cross-section inspection and measurement systems are designed to carry out high-accuracy automatic measurements of multi-strand cables. Measurements include:
-Insulator thickness over every outer strand
-Minimum insulator thickness
-Cable outer diameter
-Inner diameter (i.e. best fit through the point of minimum insulator thickness on each outer strand)
-ID / OD concentricity
-Insulator area
All of these results are obtained by pressing a single button, in just a few seconds. Furthermore, the measurements are completely operator independent.
These cable measurement systems can accommodate cables with any number of strands.
The VisionGauge® software that runs these systems has a very simple and intuitive interface. You can use it to quickly and easily compute statistics, plot graphs and charts and send measurement data to other software and database applications across your network.
These cable and wire measurement systems are very rugged and well designed. They can be used on either the production floor or in the quality-control area and they require virtually no maintenance.
Standard configurations can accommodate cables and wires up 1.7" in diameter and produce measurements with a resolution of 0.0001" (i.e. 2.5 um). Non-standard configurations are also available. |

MOLTEN METAL TEMPERATURE INDICATOR
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
Libratherm offers microcontroller based Molten Metal Temperature Indicator model LMI-2010, which is designed to accurately measure temperature of the molten metals, both ferrous and non ferrous. The measurement of this temperature is a critical process, since the expendable thermocouple is dipped for merely 3 to 4 seconds and then withdrawn. In this short measurement time, the operator is guided through the measurement cycle by audio/visual alarms for thermocouple continuity, measurement in progress and measurement over. Any error in measurement or thermocouple open condition is also immediately detected by activating the audio/visual alarm.
User can select the desired type of thermocouple (either K, R, S, or B type, (depending upon the measuring range from 1200 to 1800oC), and can also set other parameters using front panel key board. During measurement, the indicator ignores the slag temperature and the Average or Plateau reading is determined using the advanced algorithm and the same is latched and displayed on the bright 7 segment 2” LED display. This reading can also be displayed on 4” remote display LRU-2010 and can be logged on to a computer using serial RS485 MODBUS RTU protocol for recording and analysis purpose. Libratherm offers supporting window based software.

Field Transmitters are installed directly on the sensor thermowell or near the sensor, if the conditions like vibration or ambient temperature allow no installation of head transmitters. Available for intrinsic safety and explosion proof application according to international standards.
Panel Transmitter SITRANS TW
Four wire transmitters are installed in the control room. Connected directly with auxiliary power they allow universal use. Extended diagnosis, simulation and signal switch are further features.

SPRESCAN BTWS is a laser-based board thickness and width measuring system for transversal and longitudinal conveying. The system consists of a control computer and a pair of sensors.
The sensors , which are located above and beneath the board, are linked to the control computer and consist of two measuring heads each. They operate according to the triangulation method and they are distinguished by utmost accuracy.

Angle encoders
The term angle encoder is typically used to describe encoders that have an accuracy of better than ± 5" and a line count above 10000. These devices are used in applications such as NC rotary tables, swivel heads of machine tools, dividing apparatuses, high-precision angle measuing tables, precision devices in angular metrology, antennas and telescopes.
Rotary encoders
Rotary encoders from HEIDENHAIN serve as measuring sensors for rotary motion, angular velocity and also, when used in conjunction with mechanical measuring standards such as lead screws, for linear motion. Application areas include electrical motors, machine tools, printing machines, woodworking machines, textile machines, robots and handling devices, as well as various types of measuring, testing, and inspection devices.
With incremental angle encoders and rotary encoders, the current position is determined by starting at a datum and counting measuring steps, or by subdividing and counting signal periods. Incremental encoders from HEIDENHAIN feature reference marks, which must be scanned after switch-on to reestablish the datum. Incremental rotary encoders with commutation signalssupply the angular shaft position value - without requiring previous traverse - with sufficient accuracy to correctly control the phases of the rotating field of a permanent-magnet three-phase motor.

The RESR and SiGNUM%u2122 RESM angle encoders feature a ±5 arc second scale graduated axially onto a stainless-steel ring. Available in a range of 20 diameters (from Ø52 mm to Ø550 mm), Renishaw's angle encoders have a low cross-section and a large internal diameter to position easily around large internal rotors, payloads or services.
The rings also feature a unique taper mount which corrects for eccentricity of the rotor/shaft and ensures excellent accuracy, offering easy and robust fine adjustment of the ring's form and all installation tolerances. In addition, the rings offer a very low moment of inertia ensuring that whatever the installation, the system can be positioned with minimal torque and maximum speed.
