Magnastart
Magnastart is a unique Inducer system for starting slipring induction motors, offering considerable improvements in maintenance, reliability and cost-effectiveness. Magnastart is used extensively both as a component in new equipment and as a quick and effective replacement for existing resistance and liquid starters. Wide flexibility of tappings allow the impedance to be matched on commissioning. Magnastart has been used with crushers, pumps, fans, conveyers, cranes, mills and presses.
Magnastart Features
- Size: Though physically smaller than conventional systems of resistors and contactors, the large thermal capacity of Magnastart permits the starting of difficult and high inertia loads without problems
- Simplicity: Magnastart requires only one shorting contactor, reducing the system complexity, size and cost

Safety transformers of the series TS TSF are particularly indicated to power the temperature monitors and temperature controllers designed for a supply-voltage of 12 Vac.
They get produced in "closed manufacturing", with a plastic box provided of mounting lugs to permit a quick mounting; the electrical connections get done through screw connectors.
TS TSF B and TS TSF D are produced according to EN 60742 norm and defined "safety-transformers", that is why they can fit applications for very low safety voltage on the secondary circuit and for high insulation voltage between the primary circuit and the secondary one.
The protection from short-circuits and overloads is guaranteed for the TS TSF D through an incorporated non self-resetting thermal cut-out, while TS TSF B needs the insertion of a external fusible with the indicated characteristics.

We offer numerous Power Transformers in the toroidal design. For your convenience, we have added the expected DC output, should the transformer be rectified.
The DC output is calculated with a standard full-wave bridge rectifier with a large capacitor. Any of these primaries can be easily used to configure custom secondaries at a reduced cost compared to a full custom design.

VARIABLE AUTO-TRANSFORMERS SINGLE-PHASE CURRENTS:
They are used as well for testing equipments as for permanent installations. The output voltage is controlled by a serrated roller of adjustment. Control precise, possibility of higher output voltages on request (step-up transformer). All our models are studied to resist high temperatures, moisture and the shocks/vibrations mechanical.
THREE-PHASE VARIABLE AUTO-TRANSFORMERS:
Connection out of star or triangle side primary education and secondary. They are delivered star-connected and have an accessible neutral point.
VARIABLE AUTO-TRANSFORMERS MOTORIZE:
A synchronous motor is used to position the cursor; the engine is reversible thanks to a switch (not provided) and functions under 24VDC or 230VAC. Integrated switches of end of the road. We can also propose a chart of engine control 0-10VDC.
VARIABLE AUTO-TRANSFORMERS HOODS:
Entirely hooded, which offers a protection against the physical accidents and other problems. Generally they are used everywhere where an adjustable alternating voltage is necessary. The output voltage is controlled by a serrated roller of adjustment. The output voltage increases in a linear way when one turns the serrated roller in the direction of the needles of a watch. All the models are equipped with a cord with food and a luminous switch ON/OFF. Indication of the output voltage in volts on graduated disc.

These type QL transformers have passed the UL K-factor testing program. K-factor is a unit measuring a transformer’s ability to withstand the harmonics content of a system. GE offers K=4, K=13, K=20 and K=30 transformers.

Control Power Transformer
Our wide range of control power transformers is designed to provide control power in medium voltage switchgear. Units are available in both single and three phase configurations with some models capable of vertical mounting to conserve space.
