The FPSC Fiessler Programmable Safety Center is a programmable electronic safety for personal protection, i.e. for safety functions. The FPSC complies with the highest safety requirements:
- SK1 through SK 4 according to EN 954-1
- SIL 1 through SIL 3 according to EN IEC 61508
- PL a through PL e according to prEN 13849-1
The product family FPSC provides maximum flexibility within its hardware and software structure. The FPSC - AD version offers the possibility to connect decentralized I/O modules via the implemented safety bus. This guarantees a modular system design that offers flexibility therefore reducing the costly and often elaborate configuration of the safe system bus.
The safety-related functions are programmable by using pre-assembled and tested software modules. The chaining
is made by simple assignment of input , i.e. output adresses. Intermediate data are stored in the temporary storage. There are various ready-to-use software modules at your disposal. For the communication with a superior control, i.e. for the operating sequence control or technology control, a serial interface is provided. The transfer of data for visualizing as well as the transfer of machine-relevant data can de realised via this interface.
The simple snap-on mechanism for fastening the items on the DIN rail in the switch cabinet considerably reduces the installation expenditure of the items of the product family.

Pluto Safety-PLC from Jokab Safety is a new ”All-masters” safety-PLC concept, which simplifies the design of safety-systems. The Pluto concept provides highest safety level according to category 4 EN 954-1. Pluto can provide an economic solution for both a single machine and big machine systems. The key difference with the Pluto-concept is that there is no Master-Slave relationship of the control units connected to the safety-bus. Every Pluto is a Master unit and it sees the other Pluto´s inputs and outputs and can use their information to make decisions about it´s own safety. This enables simple communication and simple alterations of the safety system. With our Gateway, the information from the Pluto safety-bus can be transfered to other bus-systems creating larger networks.

The VersiRail system restricts access to fall hazards and provides an aesthetic collective protection solution for worker safety at height. It is quick and easy to install and can be used on virtually any flat roof surface up to a 4° pitch.
Aesthetics and installation flexibility are crucial factors in VersiRail's design. The system is available in three finishes: untreated, polished or powder coated to a specific RAL colour and in four different flexible solutions; straight upright, curved upright, inclined upright and folding (freestanding only). The combination of finish and style options ensure that the VersiRail system will full intergrate into any building design. Similarly, the wide range of available components enables the system layout to be configured to ideally suit the collective protection need.
Constructed from aluminium, the system is lightweight and easy to transport. Installation is quick and easy with VersiRail available as a freestanding or fixed system.
VersiRail system is a non-penetrative barrier system for guarding users against falls from height.
Design and installation has been indepenently tested and conforms to EN 13374.
Applicable for use on flat roofs up to a maximum pitch of 4°.
Counterbalances can be positioned on the inside or outside of the VersiRail.
Easy to assemble on site - uses EZ-FIX components.
Can be configured to provide a guarded walkway across a roof as well a roof edge guard.
Choice of corner units provide uninterrupted protection.
End sections can be fixed directly to a wall where appropriate.

Latchways ManSafe systems provide the total solution for all horizontal safety at height industrial applications. The system's versatility and ease of use makes it ideal for protecting workers as they go about day-today activities such as maintenance, cleaning, access and inspection.
Systems can be designed for up to five simultaneous users.
Fixes to virtually all types of structure and roofing system.
Follows the contours of the building by going around bends and up and down inclines.
Can be extended to include vertical sections.
The unique Latchways Transfastener allows workers to travel the full length of the system without having to detach and re-attach.
Normally incorporates the unique Latchways Constant Force Post for assured fall arrest protection and simplified installation.
Where the Constant Force post is not applicable, in-line shock absorbers or a Constant Force energy absorber can be incorporated for equal safety assurance.
Meets all appropriate international standards.

The ManSafe Freestanding Constant Force Post provides assured worker safety at height where there is an occasional or temporary requirement to access flat roofs or structures.
At the heart of the system is Latchways' unique Constant Force technology. The Constant Force Post is contained within an anchor device consisting of a galvanised steel frame and galvanised steel weights bolted in a circular formation onto rubber coated base weights. In the event of a fall, the Constant Force Post deploys to limit the load on the system while the weights simultaneously create a friction anchor between the unit and the roof surface.
Applicable where there is an occasional safety at height requirement.
Suitable for flat roofs (maximum 5° pitch).
Can be used on a wide range of roof surfaces including concrete, single-ply membrane, bituminous membrane, sanded and stone chipping asphalt, and steel profile.
No need to puncture the roof membrane to fix the system.
Special rotating anchor turns through 90° for maximum user flexibility.
Each anchor device protects a single user.
Conforms to BS EN 795 class E.

The Latchways ManSafe for Ladders system provides outstanding personal safety for individuals working on any type of fixed industrial ladder. Applications include chimneys, towers, cranes and silos.
Such is the simplicity of the design concept that ManSafe for Ladders can be installed to follow the contours of the structure to which it is attached and so maximise its safety value in a working environment.
Equally, the proven effectiveness of the system's LadderLatch unit with its unique Latchways starwheel component provides workers with the security of being constantly attached to the system while also having both hands free to go about their duties. If a worker should fall from the system, the LadderLatch unit immediately locks onto the system cable and arrests the fall.
In the event of a fall, a worker attached to a ManSafe for Ladders system is far less likely to be injured during the fall arrest process compared to a fall from a traditional hoop system. Whereas hoop systems prevent a worker falling backwards off a ladder, the hoops themselves present a significant threat if the worker should fall down a ladder.
|
|
ManSafe overhead systems combine Latchways' unique knowledge of fall arrest load control with innovative Constant Force technology in a solution that is flexible to use, strong, durable and easy to install. Workers attached to the ManSafe system have maximum accessibility and hands-free mobility to safely go about their duties.
ManSafe overhead systems are ideal for industrial environments and in applications such as warehouses and loading bays.
With a ManSafe overhead system the Constant Force technology is housed in an in-line energy absorber. In the event of a fall by a worker connected to the system, the Latchways Transfastener instantly locks on the cable to arrest the fall while the Constant Force energy absorber controls the load on the system.
