The FKS fluid-bed cooler-sifter is an installation for the treatment of dry silica sand. The sand is cooled down to processing temperature and thoroughly dedusted to reach an excellent quality level.
The FKS is particularly distinguished by:
- simple and reliable operation
- a compact design
- an energy-saving economic concept
Design
The fluid-bed cooler-sifter is fitted with baffle-plates arranged at right angles to the longitudinal walls of the housing and forcing the sand to flow alternately over and under the plates. The resulting spaces, the so-called chambers, house the heat exchangers through which cooling water is circulated. The bottom of the housing is permeable to air but not to sand.
Functioning
While hot sand is fed into the FKS through the inlet, air produced by a fan is blown through its air-permeable bottom. This procedure fluidizes the sand, allowing it to flow freely and to behave like a liquid in communicating tubes. The fluid bed is filled to a controlled maximum level before the sand leaves the FKS again at the discharge end. While the sand flows through the individual chambers it passes along and is cooled by the integrated heat exchangers. At the outlet, a thermostat monitors the sand outlet temperature. In the course of this process, the dust contained in the sand is expelled by the fluidizing air.
The dust is then evacuated into the dust separation filter through a dust gas line.

UPX® is a cooling system based on chilled water circulation through a conveying screw and trough. The Frigomix® model is designed with conditioned air (temperature and humidity) percolating through the product.
GLOBAL EXCHANGE COEFFICIENT INCREASE
FLASH COOLING
NO CONDENSATION ON COOLED JACKET
NO HUMIDITY ON PRODUCT
The UPX technology allows for the perfect cooling of divided products, powders or pasty products in a wide range of processes. Applications include powders, seeds, herbs (in agro-industrials applications, in particular after sterilization), and muddy or pasty products (heated products converted by heat or stored in environment or chemical industry). UPX avoids any risk of condensation for the preservation of microbiologic and organoleptic properties. This solves the rigorous needs in the bacteriological treatment industries.

UPK® is a continuous cooling or heating screw conveyor for bulks, powders, granulates, pasty or muddy products. The cooling and heating function is accomplished through chilled water, steam or other thermal fluid passage into the screw and double jacket.
The air extraction in the top opening allows the control of the atmosphere conditions above the product: wet extraction, dried air injection...
Paddles fixed to the screw allow a perfect homogeneous treatment, mixing, conveying, and cooling or heating transfer.
UP TO 10M3/H
MINIMUM TEMPERATURE +2°C
MAXIMUM TEMPERATURE +900°C

Sandvik uses a very simple easy to understand
designation system for its steel belt grades, where
the figu res indicate roughly the tensile strength
in MPa* and the letters the type of steel and
microstructure:
C = Carbon steel
S = Stainless steel
A = Austenitic microstructure
M = Martensitic microstructure

Partial-flow Cooling Unit
type TFSA
Compact design
Variable mounting positions
Very high-performance device
Low costs
Product description
The TFS/A is a compact partial-flow cooling unit. It was developed to improve the availability and reliability of hydraulic systems. Due to its combination of a motorpump unit and an oil-air cooler in one device, the TFS/A is an autonomous unit, which can be operated independently of the main system. In this manner continuous cooling is ensured.
Product features
Compact design
Nearly noiseless operation
Ease of maintenance, since the number of working parts has been consequently reduced
Equipped with multirange motors as standard equipment
Any arbitrary mounting position is possible
Advantages
Extension of the service life of the hydraulic components
Enhancement of the application reliability
Improvement of the positioning accuracy
Unproblematic retrofitting on existing systems is possible

Apart from thermoelectric modules Kryotherm company also produces different types of thermoelectric cooling assemblies.
thermoelectric cooling assemblies of air-to-air type
thermoelectric cooling assemblies of liquid-to- liquid type
Thermoelectric cooling assembly is a devise, produced like several heat-exchange devices bound together with thermoelectric coolers between them.
Sphere of application of the thermoelectric assemblies is very wide. They can be used for production of refrigerators, air conditioners, systems of electronic devices cooling, etc. Assemblies are optimized for 12, 24 and 48 V supply voltage that makes it possible to plug in them to the power sources of automobile, railroad and water transport.
Heat insulation, installed between the radiators, hinders the reverse transfer of heat to the cooling object. .
Each thermoelectric assembly, created by Kryotherm Company has holes for mounting and switching plane for power supply. A temperature sensor and temperature controller installation on the assembly is available as an extra option

CPAC Microplate
The INHECO CPAC Microplate is a compact heated and cooled position, built into the deck or ALP of a liquid handling system. Compact footprint and overall height, most SBS listed disposable can be fitted. The system is also suited for the heating and cooling of tubes and other probe formats. The unit is ready to install, CE and UL certified. A thermal fuse provides extra protection from overheating.
Power supply, temperature setting and control of the CPAC Microplate is performed through an INHECO TEC Control unit, please refer to the seperate TEC Control data sheet. Various types of aluminum adapter plates to match the required disposable are available. Adapter plates and positioner can be easily taken down for cleaning, or changed to another configuration within minutes.
The CPAC Microplate is mostly used on robotic platforms and systems in Lab Automation, primarily:
