Style 575 Angle Ball Valve
The Dresser® Style 575 Angle Ball Valve provides dual service... as a main-to-service compression end tee connection, and as a shut-off valve.
Constructed of a unique combination of a rugged ductile iron body and a highstrength engineered plastic plug, the "575" valve offers a low torque 90-degree operation with positive, bottle-tight shut-off at pressures up to 125 psi.
Designed for durability under all service conditions, the interface of ductile and engineered plastic components eliminates any possibility of valve freeze-up due to corrosion.
The "575" eliminates the presence of an isolated metallic valve in a plastic service. The ductile material in the valve body is compatible with the cast iron main, so there's no need for anoding and monitoring. Plus, an optional AL-CLAD® Plastisol coating can provide even greater external corrosion protection. The compression end for connecting the service is of a time-proven Dresser design and meets all the requirements of D.O.T. 192.283(b), providing a permanent seal and pull-out resistance greater than the PE tubing in tension.
The "575" is available in inlet sizes 1-1/4" or 1-1/2" MIPT and an outlet size of 1-1/8" OD, but it can be readily adapted to other outlet sizes as required. |

Together with the licenser DLR, a valve has been developed, as it has never been offered on the valve market before. The RRV® Rapid Reaction Valve.
According to the German Aerospace Centre (DLR) in Cologne the RRV® Rapid Reaction Valve was developed as a control jet for orbiting satellites. It was a highly reliable valve that delivered the smallest amounts of pressurised gas and thereby controlling the satellites movements.
The valve was further advanced during trials in a high-vacuum chamber, where defined gas pulses were released into the chamber.
Today, the RRV® Rapid Reaction Valve is a solenoid ball valve with a special function. The difference between the RRV® Rapid Reaction Valve and other ball valves is that a magnetisable ball moves laterally from the seat of the valve using a magnetic field.
The closing process takes place solely due to the stream of the medium. An additional feature and advantage of the RRV® Rapid Reaction Valve is that the response times are realisable wihin milliseconds.
Furthermore, media of high viscosity such as glues, oils and adhesives can be delivered.
Application areas are e.g.: dosing technology, dosing of adhesives, lubrication technology, deformation technology, automobile industry, filling industry, dye and varnish industry, pharmacy, food industry and biotechnology.
Due to the fact that the valve is very small it is pre-eminently suitable for robotics applications. |

| The FIELDVUE® DVC6000 series digital valve controller is a communicating, microprocessor-based current-to-pneumatic instrument. The controllers can be used on single- or double-acting actuators. The digital valve controller receives feedback of the valve travel position plus supply and actuator pneumatic pressure. This allows the instrument to diagnose not only itself, but also the valve and actuator to which it is mounted. This provides you with very cost effective maintenance information, so that required maintenance can be performed on the instrument and valve when there really is a need. |
