Butterfly Valve Type 567-568
GF Piping Systems presents the 567/568 type series of butterfly valves with a comprehensive range of products for wafer and lug style applications.
Our systems modular design principle allows you to exchange individual system components %u2013 fast, easily and at very little expense.
Butterfly Valve Type 037/038
The metall butterfly valves type 037/038 can be used as open/close or control valve. The easy installation of the valve between pipe flanges warrants reliable operation and sealing.
The lightweight aluminium valve body has special advantages in transport and installation. The Rilsan-coating of the valve body and the ductile iron disc provide a high resistance against corrosion. The butterfly valves are also available in a standard version with stainless steel disc.
Butterfly Valve Type 367
The dimensions DN250 and DN300 provide all the advantages, that GF Piping Systems butterfly valves have to offer.
Due to the patented flexible hollow gasket the required operation torque is on a low level that allows a manual operation with a low expenditure of energy. Retrofitting for automatic actuation is possible at any time.

1. High Tension Coil Spring
Ensures a stable seal at upper and lower gland even at extreme temperatures or when thermal shock occurs
2. Minimum 3mm PFA Thickness
Seam free PFA injection moulding on the seat and disc to a minimum thickness of 3mm prevents permeation of dangerous fluids or gases
3. No Special Gasket Needed
Stable flange sealing performance is ensured by concentric circular grooves on the flange faces thereby eliminating the need for a special gasket when operating under specified temperatures. The wider sealing area also ensures minimum "creep" at high temperature. Flange sealing mechanism is independent from the seating and gland seals ensuring there is no loss of the line fluid.
4. Total Sealing
Valve structure includes primary, secondary and independent tertiary seal - ie. gland packing. There is also a fourth seal of 0-rings on the top/bottom stems - ie. dust seal. |

Characteristics:
Japan Patent No1769954(40-300mm)
An original design with a spherical inner surface of the body contacting to spherical ends of the disc hub allows its self-alignment. This design ensures prevention of over-run of the disc.
(350-600mm) A spacer ring is provided between each end of the disc hub and the inner surface of the body for self-alignment of the disc. The over-run of the disc is prevented by a protrusion on the inner surface of the body.
Disc with thin but highly stiff rib:
(40-300mm) The disc has a thin, but highly stiff rib.
(350-600mm) The rib of disc has a convex figuration like an end plate of a tank. Either design has successfully reduced thermal expansion and shows a constant sealing capability against changes in temperature or pressure of fluid.
Double Eccentric Structure:
When the disc rotates, it unseats at a small open angle, by its cam effect. It prevents seat abrasion and provides perfect shut-off for a long period.
Seal the flow from both directions:
The valve can seal in reverse flow as well as the preferred direction, and cope with the flow direction changes. The ball lock method is adopted to facilitate the easy replacement of the seat ring. Metal seat and Teflon seat are both quickly replaceable. |
