507V:
Incorporated in the disc edge are vane-like teeth which are set at a critical angle. The valve displays superb control characteristics. The teeth around the disc edge break down the fluid energy acting on it with a resultant reduction in pressure recovery. The gull wing-like disc profile touches the seat at a pre-determined angle which results in greatly reduced seating/break out torque.
508V:
Incorporates the gull wing and toothed disc edge features of the 507V, but with an integral EPDM rubber seat which includes the proven cosine curve seating features.
The use of the rubber seat ring eliminates the need for an expensive additional stop valve. The 508V seat ring is built around a metal core ensuring stability whilst the valve is working under control conditions.
Face-to-face dimensions are to ISO5752 basic series 20.

The automation of production equipment and processes with the aid of electronic regulation and control equipment requires interfaces between the electronic and fluidic control loops.
The valve described below for regulating the flow rate of liquids and gases represents such an interface. Fluids are mainly delivered and isolated by solenoid actuated on-off valves. However, the way they and manually actuated throttle valves operate does not meet certain flow requirements. Therefore, wherever exact adjustment to the actual requirement is needed, one of the wide range of motorised valves on offer is used. Depending on the application and accuracy required, it is possible to chose between an extremely wide variety of control element and drive design principles.
This is a rotary valve, with two oxide ceramic throttling discs which resist dirt and do not wear.
The maintenance free electrical servodrive consists of powerful reversible motors; with a choice between DC, synchronous and stepper designs to suit the type of control system available.
The backlash free gearing, which is positively connected to the drive shaft in order to rotate the control disc, guarantees a reproducible defined control characteristic. The limit - i.e. valve closed or fully open - is detected by two separate, floating microswitches. As a result of the low power consumption of between 1.5 and 5W, the electronic regulator can operate certain types of motor directly.

This type of valve is actuated by pressure acting on a piston or diaphragm. The fluid is usually neutral e.g. air, water, hydraulic oil. The pressure range varies and is specified accordingly in a data table.
"Normally Closed" (N/C) valves of this type remain closed under spring pressure, when de-activated.
"Normally Open" (N/O) valves of this type remain open under spring pressure, when de-activated.
When pressure is connected to port "Z" the valves open or close according to type.
A separate 3/2 pilot valve is used to supply pressure to port "Z", it is mounted either directly on the actuator or remotely.
In some cases a 4/2 or 5/2 pilot valve will be required. The main valve position can be N/C or N/O. The basic position is determined by connecting the pilot valve output lines accordingly. (The direction of flow is usually indicated by an arrow or shown schematically on the body).

The Clippard's Electronic Valves combined with a serie of manifolds provide a complete system for efficient interface with electric and electronic circuits.
Lilke a mouse, these valves are quiet, quick, eats very little and are cute. Valves accept low voltage, low current signals, convert them into high pressure (100 psi/ 7 bar) pneumatic outputs. Optional low pressure/medium or high flow are available.
Clippard Minimatic electronic valves are precision-built 2- or 3-way control valves, utilizing a unique, patented, valving principle. There are no slidings parts. Complete poppet travel is a mere 0.007"(0.18mm). As a result, low power consuption and exceptionally long life are major benefits of this design.
The valves are very quiet in operation and also very cool. The valves' small size makes them well suited to a wide range of applications.

Series 240 Control Valves are available in nominal sizes ranging from DN 15 to DN 300 (½" to 12") and up to a nominal pressure PN 40 (Class 300).
Control valves in the standard version are suitable for temperature ranges between -10 and 220 °C (15 and 430 °F). An insulating section allows the temperature range to be extended to -200 and 450 °C (-325 and 840 °F).
The plug stem is sealed either by a self-adjusting PTFE V-ring packing or an adjustable packing. To meet stricter emissions control requirements, a stainless steel bellows is used. The Type 3241 Control Valve can be equipped with a heating jacket that may also include the bellows.
Series 250 Control Valves are used when large nominal sizes and/or high pressures are involved in process engineering, power plant or supply engineering.
In addition to globe, three-way and angle valves, four-flanged valve bodies with bottom plug stem guides, and valves with axial multi-stage throttling plugs, customized valve constructions to meet customer specifications can be engineered as well.
The valves are manufactured in nominal sizes from DN 15 to DN 500 (½" to 16") and for nominal pressures between PN 16 and PN 400 (Class 150 to 2500).
The standard versions of these control valves are suitable for temperatures ranges between -10 and 220 °C (15 and 430 °F). This temperature range can, however, be extended by using an adjustable high-temperature packing to a temperature range between %u201310 and 350 °C (15 and 660 °F) and by using a bellows seal or an insulating section to a temperature range between %u2013200 and 500 °C (%u2013325 and 930 °F).
Series 280 Steam-converting Valves are used to reduce both the steam pressure and steam temperature to optimize plant operation and heat efficiency in process plants, for example, in refineries, food and beverage, tobacco or pulp and paper industries.
Steam-converting valves are based on Series 250 Valves fitted with a flow divider St III and an additional spray water connection. They are available in nominal sizes ranging from DN 50 to DN 400 (1" to 16"), with nominal pressures of PN 16 to PN 400 (Class 150 to 2500) and for temperatures up to 500 °C (930 °F).
The Type DUV-C3 Steam-converting Valve from Welland & Tuxhorn is designed for high-pressure ranges and can be engineered with varying inlet and outlet sizes. The inlet nominal sizes range from DN 80 to DN 500 and the outlet nominal sizes
from DN 100 to DN 1600. Large amounts of spray water can be injected thanks to the integrated atomizing steam cooler. The valve can be operated in a wide load range.

DV-02 Pinch Tube Valve
The DV-02 valve design utilizes a plastic tube as the valve mechanism. In the 'valve off' state, the tube is pinched closed by a plastic plunger. When signaled to open with the 'valve on' command, the plunger is forced back by way of a pneumatic cylinder. As the tube opens, fluid is forced to flow through the valve. The fluid flow may be throttled with an adjusting screw that limits the plunger travel.
Features
- Positive shutoff is required
- Material can be supplied in cartridges, syringes, or bulk
- Short clean-up time
- Ideal when pressure-time dispensing is acceptable
- Syringe plunger is required
Recommended Applications
- Solder Paste
- Adhesives

Superior Design:
Hayward all-plastic diaphragm valves have been specifically designed to perform in the most demanding liquid, gas, and slurry applications in both on/off and modulating service.
Position Indicator:
Hayward's standard highly visible, beacon-type position indicator will always give positive position indication, unlike rising stem indicators that can be inaccurate because of misadjusted stems. Sight panels are made from clear Eastar®.
Diaphragm Saver:
The Diaphragm Saver travel stop is a standard feature on all sizes of Hayward Diaphragm Valves. Its special design prevents overcompression of the diaphragm and prolongs its service life.
No Corrosion Problems:
These valves have no wetted metal components. The valves will never fail because of corrosion and they do not require painting or epoxy coating to stand up to aggressive environments.
True Union Design:
Hayward Diaphragm Valves with socket or threaded connections have a true union design so that they can be removed from the line without having to disconnect piping connections.
