High capacity in open position and low cost. SOMAS manual valves fulfill these requrements, and we have a number of valves in our product line suitable for use as manual valves. The SOMAS full-flow ball valve SKV achieves very low flow resistance in the open position and is therefore an excellent choice for use as a manually operated valve.
SOMAS butterfly valves have, due to their robust, maintenance-free construction and comparatively low price also become a good alternative for use as manual valves.

SERIES 730 MASS FLOW CONTROL VALVES
The Series 730 Mass Flow Control Valves were designed by Dr. Jerry Kurz in about 1980 to provide a simple, compact electrically operated, precise metering valve for applications requiring a high flow rate turn-down ratio. The unique Kurz design utilizes a rotor having a helical shape machined into its bottom face, opposite an inlet orifice and an outlet orifice. The diameter, separation and the helical depth were designed to provide a nearly linear flow coefficient (Cv) with angular rotation. A simple high torque gearmotor (24 VDC) was selected for cost and simplicity. Since the Series 730 is a "fail-as-is" design, the motor is only used when changes are required, which greatly extends the motor life. The Series 730 combines the electric drive motor, the valve body, rotor and limit switches into a well-designed, integrated package. The typical turn-down ratio is 50:1, due to the incorporation of a pressure assisted shut-off disk which becomes active near the shut-off position. The Cv range is from 0.05 to 10.0 in three convenient body sizes. The Series 730 is constructed of 316L stainless steel, with Viton O'Rings and an o'ring sealed motor cover. It operates as a two-wire loop-powered device normally powered and controlled by one of the Series 155 Mass Flow Computers and used with a Kurz In-Line Mass Flow Element. The inlet and outlet fittings are Schedule 40 pipe with MNPT end connections or Class 150 flanges. Because of its rotary design, the Series 730 is not as affected by abrupt line pressure changes as are pneumatic control valves

Both of our inline pinch valves offer a smooth internal profile suitable for powders, granules, slurries, liquids and gases in gravity, pressure and vacuum conveying ducts and pipelines. They are easily installed and require minimal maintenance. The hand operated anvil type piston closes a reinforced rubber sleeve by pinching it, while compressed air or suitable fluid accomplishes a bubble-tight seal on a heavy duty elastomer sleeve in the pneumatic version.

Introduced and patented by Red Valve, the air -actuated Type A Pinch Valve offers a unique, cost-effective solution to flow control problems. More Red Valve Type A Valves are in use than any other Pinch Valve throughout the world. The secret is in the rubber sleeve - the valve’s only wetted part.
Actuation of the valve, the pinching action is accomplished by air or hydraulic pressure placed on the sleeve. The valve body acts as a built-in actuator, eliminating costly pneumatic, hydraulic, or electric actuators. Adding air pressure within the annular space between the body and the sleeve can open, throttle, or close the valve.

Superior Design:
Hayward all-plastic diaphragm valves have been specifically designed to perform in the most demanding liquid, gas, and slurry applications in both on/off and modulating service.
Position Indicator:
Hayward's standard highly visible, beacon-type position indicator will always give positive position indication, unlike rising stem indicators that can be inaccurate because of misadjusted stems. Sight panels are made from clear Eastar®.
Diaphragm Saver:
The Diaphragm Saver travel stop is a standard feature on all sizes of Hayward Diaphragm Valves. Its special design prevents overcompression of the diaphragm and prolongs its service life.
No Corrosion Problems:
These valves have no wetted metal components. The valves will never fail because of corrosion and they do not require painting or epoxy coating to stand up to aggressive environments.
True Union Design:
Hayward Diaphragm Valves with socket or threaded connections have a true union design so that they can be removed from the line without having to disconnect piping connections.

Series PC (Pressure Compensated)
General Description
These valves are designed to regulate flow at a selected rate then maintain this flow constant within ?5% as inlet and outlet pressures may vary. However, changes in fluid temperature will prevent flow from holding constant.
There are 2 types of Series PC valves. Series PCM valves can be adjusted for required flows after being installed. Series PCK valves are factory-set for a specified flow and are not adjustable by the user

Rotary Airlocks - Dust Collector Valve
Rotolok introduced a low cost solution to dust collector valve needs. The Dust Collector Valve is a lighter duty option for standard dust collection applications.
Constructed with a robust cast iron body and cast iron end covers. Bearings are inboard and shafts are sealed with lip seals. All valves are direct driven with a right angle gearbox and motor.
These valves have been engineered and designed solely as a low cost alternative for applications with pressure differentials of 3 psi or less. Available in 150mm, 200mm, 250mm, and 300mm round and square inlet sizes.

L-O-X® energy isolation valves are designed to shut off the air supply and exhaust downstream air. This product can be locked and padlocked in closed position, and serves as an energy isolation device as defined by DIN EN 1037 "Safety – Machinery".
EEZ-ON® valves are designed for a gradual buildup of downstream air pressure. This permits cylinders or other work elements to move slowly into their normal working positions before full line pressure is applied.
Consolidated L-O-X®/EEZ-ON® valves combine both pressure buildup and energy isolation functions. They can also be used as energy isolation devices as defined by DIN EN 1037 "Safety – Machinery".
