The MDSS "Long Multi Drill" is special designed for deep hole drilling e.g. for crankshaft machining. Cutting temperature, chip removement, strength and geometry of the drill and so called minimum quantity lubrication (MQL) have big influence to cutting process. Especially this MQL enables this carbide twisted drill to make deep hole drilling, whose L/D is more than 15, as short chips are generated by MQL. Our Long Multi Drill has a ZX coated chip generating area and a new designed chip removal area.

WhizIn, another revolutionizing patented product developed by WhizCut, is designed to improve productivity of internal applications. It has been specially developed for small diameters in internal turning applications, and is unlike anything else on the market.
The WhizIn tool holder has the carbide bar mounted at an angle to achieve the maximum stability for a set diameter. By grinding away less from the base of the insert, the insert becomes more stable. Other benefits are less grinding time and grinding stress and that the coolant may go through the tool holder and spray directly on to the cutting zone.

A boring tool is usually a modular tool, consisting of a basic holder, adapter and a cutting unit in the form of a cartridge, slide or fine boring unit. A fine boring head holds a boring bar or cartridge. A reamer has a tool shank and a close pitch head with brazed blades. The tools, except the reamer, are radially adjustable within a specific diameter range.

CoroDrill Delta-C R846
Sandvik Coromant has developed a new drill, CoroDrill Delta-C R846, for Heat Resistant Super Alloy machining in aerospace applications, such as the production of gas turbine casings. The new drill is designed for the continuous and reliable production of holes in demanding HRSA materials, which place heavy demands on the cutting edge. The geometry of the new CoroDrill Delta-C is optimised for maximum efficiency in repeat short hole drilling. The new cutting edge has a more consistent curve for added strength in the outer corners where cutting forces can be highest in demanding applications. This distributes the cutting forces evenly over the cutting edge – giving an even wear without sudden changes.
CoroMill Plura
The CoroMill Plura solid carbide endmill family covers most milling applications from roughing to superfinishing, keyslot milling and chamfering.
The endmills are designed with several length options to maximise productivity from short to long reach. They are supplied in diameters from 0.4 - 25 mm and also available in an multi-edged version for super finishing and a spherical version for optimised accessibility.
CoroMill Plura endmills are supplied in three different carbide grades covering wet and dry milling in steels, stainless steels, cast iron, heat resistant super alloys, hardened materials as well as aluminium.

The CoroDrill 805 makes it possible to drill deep holes without moving the workpiece to a dedicated deep hole drilling machine i.e. all operations can be completed in one set-up.
Deep holes can be performed with high productivity and reliability achieving a hole quality comparable with traditional deep hole drilling. Another advantage is that no extra pump capacity is required.
CoroDrill 805 carries the same standard inserts as CoroDrill 800.
Deep holes are defined by a high ratio between hole depth and hole diameter. Deep hole drilling is the preffered method for drilling hole depths of more than 10 x the diameter up to 150 x diameter. Sandvik Coromant are a world leading manufacturer of deep hole drilling systems.

CoroPlex™ MT
By introducing the multifunctional CoroPlex™ MT Sandvik Coromant establishes a new standard that is of outmost user benefit for operations performed with the latest of machine tool technologies.
CoroPlex MT is a combination of two winning concepts in one – CoroMill 390 and CoroTurn 107. It is either applied rotating as an effective tool for milling applications – or indexed in a number of optional positions for stationary turning using two different CoroTurn 107 inserts.
Sandvik Coromant´s multifunctional tool CoroPlex MT is designed for practically unrestricted use of all the insert positions possible without support of any extra software. Although CoroPlex MT is dedicated for Multi-Task machining it is easy to use the tool in somewhat older machines working with the software capacity limited to conventional standard cycles.
CoroPlex™ MT is an innovative multifunctional tool for finishing the workpieces in a single set-up with reduced downtime on the machine. It also completes together with CoroPlex TT twin tools, with two inserts in one holder giving the possibility to change operations momentarily, and CoroPlex SL mini-turret, with four turning tools in one, the dedicated tooling Sandvik Coromant provides Multi-Task machining.
