| Ocean Optics sensor systems are ushering in a new generation of low-cost, portable chemical-sensing devices. Thanks to innovation in the development of chemical-sensing complexes -- particularly those with fluorescing properties -- products such as our Oxygen sensor systems will continue to provide viable alternatives to traditional chemical-sensing devices such as electrodes. The use of optical-sensing methods lessens the reliance on the electrochemical technologies that have dominated the field of oxygen sensing. |

Alphasense Oxygen sensors operate using well-known fuel cell technology. The O2-A3 (3-year warranty), O2-A2 (2-year warranty), O2-A1 (1-year warranty), O2-G2 (2-year warranty)and O2-G1 (1-year warranty),sensors are designed for the latest generation of portable gas detectors where high detection performance, total reliability, small size and long lifetime are the key criteria.
All Alphasense sensors pass through our unique ATAV system (Automatic Test and Validation), which provides 100% traceability for you and your customers. Our sensors can also be supplied with a customised test report to individual requirements. A record of each sensor's performance is stored in the Alphasense database, accessible via the sensor barcode. This can be made available as hard copy evidence and also provides a powerful diagnostic tool. |

| The GS Oxygen sensor KE series (KE-25 and KE-50) is a unique galvanic cell type oxygen sensor which was developed in Japan in 1985. Its most notable features are long life expectency, excellent chemical durability, and it is not influenced by CO2. The KE series oxygen sensor is ideal to meet the ever-increasing demand for oxygen monitoring in various fields such as combustion gas monitoring, the biochemical field, medical applications, domestic combustion appliances, etc. |
|
The remarkable features of this oxygen sensor are its extremely long service life and the low maintenance costs due to its long-term adjustment and cleaning intervals.
The adjustment can be done in air or in saturated water without any calibration tables. The replacement of the galvanic cell is simplified by the design of the sensor. The membrane is very durable and is almost unbreak-able (100 µm membrane thickness).
Newly developed sensor electronics enable the oxygen sensor to work without an additional storage battery. The sensor can be modified to customer's needs regarding measuring range and accuracy.
The response time is less than 2 minutes.
The sensor can be immersed directly in water courses or tanks and does not need regular maintenance. The sensor is also available in combination with a temperature sensor supplier. |

Honeywell's high accuracy oxygen sensor range employs two ZrO2 discs with a small, hermetically sealed chamber between the discs. The first disc functions as a reversible oxygen pump, which successively fills and empties the chamber. The second disc measures the ratio of the partial pressure difference and generates a corresponding voltage. A heat element produces the 700 °C required for the ZrO2 to operate as an O2 pump. The time needed for the pump to achieve specific minimum and maximum pressures within this chamber provides a measure of the partial oxygen pressure of the environment.
Best Used For:
Industrial process and aircraft on-board oxygen generation system control, automotive exhaust gas diagnostics, service instruments, environmental oxygen monitoring, agriculture, combustion systems and environmental control.

Fault-proof measurement of oxygen
J. Dittrich Elektronic's oxygen measuring systems determine the oxygen content in gas mixtures, monitor their own function during operation, signal malfunctions in the hardware and sensor, can be calibrated without personnel or reference gas in atmospheric air and, hence, are fault-proof.
A second oxygen sensor is not necessary!
The oxygen measuring system MF010-O is the first such system to obtain positive certification of its fault-proofness from the Technical Inspectorate of Southern Germany (TÜV). |

Model InstaTrans (3001) Oxygen Transmitter
The Insta Trans is a two-wire, loop-powered 4-20 mA oxygen transmitter packaged within a weather tight NEMA-4 housing. The product was named for its built-in level of flexibility. It can instantly transform from ppm to percent (or vice-versa) simply by changing out the Teledyne sensor and resetting the range scale of the unit to ppm or percent via the function keypad.
The Insta Trans has six user selectable ranges from 0-10 ppm to 0-25 %. The user can easily change to the preferred range via the built in function keypad. In addition, depending on the corrosive nature of the sample, the Insta Trans can be supplied with either stainless steel or nylon wetted parts.

Optical D.O. measurement based on dye luminescence is strongly promoted in these days. The manufacturers of such instruments claim far superior performance compared to conventional electrochemical transducers. In theory, the functional principle of the optical D.O. measurement confirms this superiority. However, practical realisation and application does set certain limits and, as usual, further technical development is needed to bring theory and practice to accordance.
WTW's FDO 700 IQ D.O. sensor belongs to a new generation of these sensors that eliminate the drawbacks of the former ones. Its most remarkable features are:
- High accuracy right from the start
- Utmost stability over a long timespan
- Minimum maintenance effort
This is achieved by entirely new technologies:
- Intelligent Membrane with IQMC technology
- Soft Green Light Technology
- (C2) calibrated optics
- EPRS reference procedure

The Argweld Weld Purge Monitor.
Keeps waiting time to a minimum:
The monitor can tell the operator exactly when the oxygen level is low enough to commence welding. No estimating or guesswork is involved, so no time is wasted waiting for the correct level to be reached.
Measures the content of oxygen in the purge gas to indicate when it is safe to carry out a weld.
Saves on excessive use of inert gas:
The exact oxygen content is given, so no more inert gas than necessary has to be used to ensure that the weld will be free of oxidation.
Prevents weld failures:
Premature starts on welds are avoided, high quality is ensured.
Highly portable:
Its small size makes is easy and very convenient to use in all purging situations.
Low cost:
The monitor is available at low relative cost and is a perfect accessory for use with any pipe purging system or argon welding enclosure.
Continuous monitoring of oxygen levels:
A continuous read out of the oxygen level is given, even when welding is taking place. This can avoid unforeseen purge problems that could cause quality failures after the weld has been started.
Calibration and Certification:
Our instrument is supplied calibrated and certificates for Industry Standards are included. Re-calibration is available to operators at any time. |
