Orifice Configurations:
Printheads are available in a range of orifice configurations according to the desired print height and resolution. Multiple orifices per channel increase the print area without added cost and complexity.
High efficiency:
With printhead orifices smaller than a human hair, extremely low volume droplets are produced. As a result, the ink efficiency is superior to that of competitive printing technologies.
Repairability:
Being able to repair Trident printheads saves users money when compared to the high replacement costs for "disposable" or unrepairable printheads. The diagram below shows how the UltraJet II printhead is constructed for easy repairability.
In general, Trident printheads are built for industrial printing applications and designed to provide a lower overall total cost of ownership.

OEM Printheads for Textile Printing:
If you are an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) developing a textile printer, Trident's inert printhead construction and high jetting throughput make an excellent combination. Contact a Trident representative to discuss your OEM printer development needs.
Trident printheads for textile printing include:
PixelJet
768Jet
384Jet
Traditional vs. Digital Textile Printing:
Screen-printing, the traditional method, entails a long set up time and is not economical for short runs.
Digital imaging allows for less expensive short production runs, offers faster turnaround, and provides immediate results as well as pattern variability.

TABER's Linear Abraser was designed to test virtually any size or shape specimen and is especially useful to evaluate ink adhesion of decorated plastics or other products. This versatile instrument can also be used to evaluate material properties including resistance to wear, scratch (single or multiple pass), marring, scrape, color transfer [commonly referred to as crocking or a crockmeter], plus others. With the universal or a custom attachment, 'real world' testing and other forms of material durability can be performed.
