- Highest profitability - SATA® HVLP technology ensures transfer efficiencies considerably above 65 % required by VOC legislation. As a result, this pressure-fed high performance gun not only helps protect the environment, but also saves lots of expensive paint (approx. 30 % compared to a conventional high pressure gun).
- Finest atomization and a top-class finish are ensured by the high air volume. The slight additional cost for compressed air (compared to a conventional high pressure gun) are considerably exceeded by material savings. Even with the latest generation of High Solid materials, excellent atomization quality is achieved.
- The patented air circulation principle provides an especially homogeneous and soft fan.
- The large fan and high material flow rates ensure swift work .
- 100 % hand checked nozzle sets ensure the constantly high, well-known SATA quality - for complete guns as well as spare nozzle sets.
- The durable air caps are made of brass (not of aluminium), therefore ensuring a long life time - a factor particularly important for industrial use.
- Nozzle sets ranging from 0.8 to 2.0 mean a wide field of application.
- Rapid air cap change with the SATA Quick Change System™ (only 1.5 turns) ideal for continuous coating.
- The gun can be adapted without greater effort to existing work stations.
- Excellent handling - the short gun body, extremely low weight and
the optimum balance ensure the gun "fits like a glove".
- Suitable for water-borne materials - paint needle and nozzle are made of stainless steel, and the nickel-plated gun body has been refined with a
special coating.

Strict environmental conditions in more and more countries restrict or prohibit the use of conventional high pressure paint guns. As a result, HVLP or RP spray guns are the technology of the future. Both technologies offer significant advantages. SATA HVLP spray guns are distinguished by high transfer efficiency that save large quantities of expensive paint material. SATA RP (reduced pressure) spray guns feature optimized high pressure. Their transfer efficiency is only slightly lower than SATA HVLP spray guns and they provide an easy change from conventional high-pressure spray guns to more efficient spray guns. They conform to VOC legislation as well as convey the "high pressure feeling" to the painter.
SATA HVLP spray guns are easily recognized by the green air cap ring and SATA RP spray guns by the blue ring. It doesn't matter which technology you choose. With SATA you can be assured you have a first class tool in your hand.
With our Spray-Disc we can help you choose the right spray gun online.

Solvent-based liquid spray painting systems
Painting with liquid spray painting products offers a wide range of solutions, thanks to the countless cycles possible, the characteristics of the paint (solvent- or water-based, mono-component or bi-component etc.).
Pre-treatment is decided by the type of material and the state of the surface, associated with cycles of series application (typically application of bases/primers + enamels and/or final protective coat).
According to the piece, the anti-corrosion or aesthetic finish aspects are privileged.
In general, solvent-based painting products require simpler treatment cycles compared to water-soluble painting products. Continuous or cell plants can be distinguished, or static plants with floor conveyors.

|
Low-pressure spraying – finish and output
• Improved material transfer rate
• Less mist
• Precision spraying
• Reduced kickback
• Less material waste
• Easy to use
• Time savings
4 adjustments:
• Spray pattern
• Air flow
• Material flow rate
• Spray head
For all professional bodywork and industrial applications

Powder painting represents the optimum solution for various industrial components and is increasingly used thanks to the total absence of emission of solvents, the total recovery of the overspray and the easiness of automatic application.
The typical system is made up of a pre-treatment tunnel, a drying oven, a mono-colour or colour change booth, polymerization oven, overhead conveyor; alternatively for large-sized components, treatment cells with step advance are used.
PROS
- Excellent surface resistance
- Automatic application
- Manual application with unskilled personnel
- High productivity
- Recovery of overspray
- Solvent-free
CONS
- Difficult to apply on very heavy structures as the polymerization requires the piece to reach the temperature of 160 180° for 15-20 mins.
- It can often not be applied to details that are already assembled, again because of the high temperatures
- Uneconomic if many colours in small batches have to be handled
- Not applicable to materials that cannot exceed certain temperatures
