A pallet conveyor transports pallets from one point to another. Generally used in warehouses for moving large pallets, they also handle pallets of varying size in numerous industries. They may use rollers, belts or chains, and operate horizontally or vertically. In addition, they are often used in conjunction with other equipment, such as sizing and weigh stations, and unloading machines.
These conveyors are widespread in industry, but only for pallets. They eliminate the need for manual pallet handling and facilitate wrapping.
The conveyors can employ drag chain, roller (driven or gravity) or belt technologies.
The choice of conveying system depends on the application, required speed and available floor space.
