PERISTALTIC PUMPS
The peristaltic pump’s operation is obtained through a “flow pressure” which acts on a flexible pipe; such flow pressure is exercised by some rollers which turn parallel to the axis, supported by a roller holder. The slow rotary motion of the roller holder support is transmitted by a two or three passages motor reducer at 35, 86 or 141 rpm’s, equipped with a 0.09 KW (1/8 CV) MEC-56 electric motor with a continuous service speed of 1450 rpm’s. Anodized aluminum roller holder, over dimensioned axes and bearings. Maximum suction height: about 8 meters with a pipe up to Ø 12.7 mm., and about 6 meters with a Ø 15.9 mm pipe. Maximum allowed pressure for the pipe: 1.4 Kg/cm2. Maximum temperature 60°C. These pumps can pump viscous liquids with suspended particles, without any damage. They withhold the liquid within their passage, they prevent liquid reflux and the “siphon” effect. The may work under dry conditions and invert the sense or rotation.
The 35 rpm speed is suitable for highly viscous liquids (polyelectrolyte) or for liquids which must remain unaltered (high quality wines).

Fitted as standard with the NEW 520RE LoadSure elements pumphead which features a large swept volume with sprung stainless steel rollers for high accuracy. Low rotational speeds greatly increase tube life and system reliability.
LoadSure elements fit into position for simple, error-free tube loading: optimum performance every time. Using the patented LoadSure D-connectors and easy-grip clutched rotor, the element can be changed in under one minute: simplicity itself, no special skills required.

LPP peristaltic hose pump is a new innovation in the world of peristaltic pumps. It is capable of handling the heaviest, most abrasive and aggressive slurries in mining and process industries as well as high viscosity fluids in hygienic and foodstuff applications. The completely new operating principle and the advanced adjustment mechanism give LPP extremely long hose life. The clever operating principle also allows LPP to operate continuously at high speeds and flows without overheating. The unique hose fixing system with reliable flanges at both ends of the hose enables secure and fast replacement of the hose. LPP can be easily installed in-line, because of its smart construction. The high flow capacity LPP makes a smaller pump size possible and the pump requires less space compared to the conventional peristaltic pumps. LPP saves energy and produces economic value in production and cost efficiency by reducing maintenance and upkeep costs. Currently LPP pump family consists of three sizes DN 25, DN 40 and DN 65 for working pressure max. 10 bar with flow capacities up to 20 m³/h. LPP can also be equipped with a sophisticated control unit. Taylor made solutions are available outside the standard product range.

Larox LPP-M Pump is ideal for accurate metering; an exact flow per revolution irrespective of the pipeline pressure as well as accurate metering throughout the whole flow range. Ideal for pumping diverse slurries and metering a wide range of media, in variety of industry fields ranging from chemical, construction and mineral processes to food and beverage industries. Dry run capability and self priming, exact flow per cycle. Seal less pumps will not get damaged even if they run dry for longer periods of time. Compact design and robust construction is straight designed to industrial use. LPP-M pumps have also the highest maximum working pressure on the markets and are equipped with a patented Tube Failure Detection (TFD).

Petrochemicals, hydrocarbons, and oil based products were all beyond the reach of peristaltic pumps due to incompatibility with the rubber hose - UNTIL NOW! As the world leader in hose pump technology, the research and development team at Watson-Marlow Bredel is constantly investigating and testing a wide range of rubber and thermoplastic hose materials to broaden our range of applications. We've identified a revolutionary new TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) that matches oil resistance with the dynamic properties needed for long life in a hose pump. Designed around this material, the PetroProof pump was born and is the first peristaltic hose pump in the world capable of handling hydrocarbon liquids in continuous duty applications
|
|
These pumps operate on a positive displacement principle. Because there are few moving parts and no valves or seals, the peristaltic pump is virtually maintenance free. No tools or disassembly is required to replace the tubing.
Peristaltic pumps are ideal for slurries, abrasive, viscous and corrosive liquids because only the tubing is in contact with the solution. Applications include a variety of chemical dispensing systems.

The New Easy Tube Loading Pump from Verderflex has been designed specifically for applications where the loading of the tubing into the pumphead needs to be effected quickly and simply without the use of any tools.
A major feature of the new pump design is its ability to have additional heads stacked onto a single drive unit enabling multi-channel pumping from a single drive.
The pumphead will accept 6 tube sizes from 0.8mm bore through to 8.0mm bore and will accept 5 different tube materials to meet the chemical compatibility demands of today. Flow rates up to 1260ml/min can be achieved dependent upon tube size and motor choice.
Each pumphead has as standard a 3 roller rotor mounted on its own stainless steel drive shaft which is supported by two ball race bearings to minimise the side load on the drive motor so extending the life of that unit.
The pumps can be supplied with a.c and d.c motors to suit a range of voltages or as pump head only for mounting on customers own drive.
The New Easy Tube Loading pumphead will suit applications in brewing, chemical, food and beverage industries, as well as laboratory, research and analysis applications all of which will benefit from this stylish new design.
