These pumps operate on a positive displacement principle. Because there are few moving parts and no valves or seals, the peristaltic pump is virtually maintenance free. No tools or disassembly is required to replace the tubing.

The neMESYS OEM tubing pump combines the approved peristaltic pump technology with the modular and extensible neMESYS drive and bus system from cetoni.
Because the only part of the pump in contact with the fluid being pumped is the interior of the tube, it is easy to sterilize and clean the inner surfaces of the pump. The use of a tube makes it a relatively low-cost maintenance item compared to other pump types. The neMESYS tubing pump also minimizes shear forces experienced by the fluid, which may help to keep colloids and slurry fluids from separating.

Verderlab pump heads distinguish themselves because of the highly perfected detail of construction and geometric design, achieved through an exacting engineering and design review process.
A tube bed is sized specifically for every tube dimension. This ensures that the pump head remains fixed in place inside the pump head without needing any additional clamps.

Peristaltic pump dispensers transfer low viscosity liquids by pressure displacement applied to a turning rotor against a tube carrying material. The Abaque pump operates on the peristaltic principle which was patented in 1925 by Mr. Horthaus of France. It is classified as positive displacement pump meaning that a fixed and known amount of fluid is discharged per revolution of the pump with flow independent of discharge head. The pump operates by compressing a specially designed elastomeric hose between a set of two or more shoes attached to a rotor and the internal wall of the pump case or housing. Fluid in the hose is forced from the inlet side of the pump toward the discharge by the squeezing or compressing motion of the shoes on the rotor of the pump as it rotates. This peristaltic action is in some ways similar in nature to that of the human digestive tract.

The Micro-Peristaltic Pump is a very small peristaltic
pump where the motor reduction gear and pumping mechanism are contained in a
single case. The simple but clever pumping mechanism provides a gentle
pumping action, giving long tube life and minimizing damage to organic
materials contained in the fluid. No return valve is necessary under
appropriate conditions, and even solids of small size can be pumped. Very
little noise is produced. The tubing is easily replaced and discharge rates
of between 0.06-10ml/min are possible depending on the model. This pump is
intended for fuel cells analysis and medical and bio-applications etc.
Complete solutions and working systems incorporating this pump are also
provided.

The B-F series are fixed-flowrate peristaltic pumps enclosed in an IP67 plastic casing, designed primarily for kitchen and washing machine use. As in all our new ranges of peristaltic pumps, this pumps has its motor shaft (axle of rotating head) SUPPORTED AT BOTH ENDS. This gives better durability and resistance to wear and tear as compared with most other peristaltic pumps, which have their motor shafts usually supported only on one end.
(When supported at one end, the motor shaft bends with time - due to wear and tear, or over-pressure in the tubings. Symptoms of such damage is loss of flowrate, because the pumphead rollers is no longer able to squeeze on the pumphead tubing).
Another feature which makes the B-F series special is the ability to discharge with pressure.
The B-F series is similar to the B-V series, except that the B-V series have variable flowrates.
