The Photoelectric Amplifier series consists of a wide selection of single channel photoelectric amplifers which are to be used in conjunction with Telco's line of remote photoelectric sensors, that may be used in thru beam or diffuse proximity. A selection of the amplifiers provide high penetration power which are suitable for applications with contaminated environments. The series can achieve sensing ranges of over 70 m in thru beam and 5 m in diffuse proximity. All the photoelectric amplifiers are housed in enclosures with an 11-pole DIN socket connection.
Supply voltage can be selected between AC and/or DC, and the output can be selected between a transistor and/or relay output. The series offers a choice betweem automatic and/or manual sensitivity adjustment, with or without on/off time delay adjustment via integral potentiometers located on the front panels of the amplifiers. Light or dark function, and long and short range is switch selectable. A selection of the models offers sensor LED drives which powers optional monitor LEDs (power-on and output) available on the remote sensors.
The MLX90614 Infrared Thermometer module is a complete fully calibrated non-contacting IR thermometer in a single TO-39 Metal Can. This unique device is suitable for non-contact temperature sensing in automotive Heating and Air Conditioning systems, home and commercial heating systems and many other industrial and medical applications. The IC consists of a MEMs thermopile element and integral signal conditioning IC. The signal conditioning IC is factory calibrated for precision and accuracy. The IC provides PWM or SMB outputs for simple interfacing to displays or control systems.
In addition to tubular housings of metal, stainless steel and plastic, Balluff offers versions in rectilinear housings of plastic or metal in virtually all sizes with various functions and performance data. Diffuse, retro-reflective and thru-beam models are available with different functions and form factors.
CX-400 reflective, retroreflective and thru-beam type
Within the CX-400 series, 116 models of ultracompact photoelectric sensors are available. Two thru-beam types and four retroreflective types are available. Despite their ultracompact size they have an exceptionally long sensing range. They also consume little power.

Eight diffuse reflective sensor types are available. Four use the triangulation measurement principle with foreground and background suppression (CX-440 series). A thru-beam type with background suppression and visible spot can detect objects of Ø 0.5mm. Rounding off the CX-400 series there are four diffuse reflective types.

The opto-electronic cells allow the target detection of nature, cut and form different. According to the type and the configuration used, the distance from detection extends from 5 mm with 40 Mr. the addition from fiberoptics largely opens the prospects for applications of the cells, authorizing their use in narrow mediums, as well as in environments where intrinsic safety would prohibit any use of electronics.
