The FANUC product line includes a broad robot range (2 to 700kg) able to manage a wide range of handling application. The vast choice, the excellent program possibilities and the fact that FANUC is the worlds biggest robot producer are for partners decisive factors for the choice of a robot supplier.
A distinctive point at FANUC is the superiority in Vision technology. Thanks to the vision system, the product handling is coupled with the camera, which gives the position of the product with very high precision.
Therefore, it is unnecessary to present the product in a pre-programmed position. This strongly reduces the programming effort.
With ROBOGUIDE, FANUC also offers a high-quality offline simulation and programming system which includes all FANUC robot types. Complete handling projects can be simulated and programmed, including the integration of external cells.

Suitable for picking of primary and secondary foods, the M-430iA/2F has a long reach of 900mm and five axes flexibility to accommodate horizontal or vertical product placement positions.
The anthropomorphic arm design produces a large work envelope that allows the M-430iA/2F to quickly rotate or flip back on itself. The arm can be ceiling or floor mounted.
Two high-speed heavy duty motors for each of the major axes, joints one, two and three, use FANUCs Dual Drive Torque, Tandem Control Technology. This allows very high speeds to be achieved by the M-430iA/2F: up to 120 cycles per minute at 1kg payload.
The M-430iA/2F has been designed to meet stringent cleanliness requirements and has a smooth exterior surface with no contaminant trap areas the paint has a high gloss finish and is resistant to acids and alkaline materials.
Designed for hose down cleaning, the robot is sealed to meet IP 67 standards and double seals on the major axes not only keep fluids out but ensure that its food grade grease stays within the durable casings. Joints four and five use nylon gears and do not require any lubrication.
The M-430iA/2Fs runs with the new intelligent controller the R-30iA series with fully integrated vision control system iRVision

Flexpicker
Flexpicker is a high speed parallel arm picking and placing robot supplied by ABB. FlexLink integrates the robot into applications requiring that products be picked to be placed or packed according to a specific pattern. The FlexLink products include conveyors, supports and control system.
Using its vision tecnology, the system is accurate in that it only selects perfect objects. If, for example, a cookie, a piece of chocolate or a pill is defect the robot will ignore it.
Flexpicker readily handles 150 picks per minute, corresponding to a cycle time of 0.4 seconds.
The IRB 340 robot used is also available in a stainless steel version, making it ideal for for operations requiring extra clean environments. This robot is highly suitable for use in food, pharmaceutical, medical and electronics applications. The IRB 340 is certified for clean-room applications, clean-room class between 2 and 3 after DIN EN ISO 14644 part 1 + 2.
Pick and place units
Using standard elements, FlexLink can supply a wide range of pick & place units, for handling everything from small lightweight goods such as plastic bottles, up to heavier applications in the automotive industry. Loads up to 50 kg are possible.

TM Robotics offer a series of SCARA robots from the TH-250 through to the SR-1504. All have unique handling capabilities for varying workloads. The SCARA range can offer robots with arm lengths of 250mm to 1500mm, and workload capacitys from 3kg to 70kg.
Perhaps the most innovative of the Toshiba Machine SCARAs are the TH-250 and TH-350, which provide better accuracy and repeatability than comparable SCARA's, and offer quicker cycle times and faster motion. These new SCARAs are so precise that they can even be used to good effect in the electronics industry. The TH-250 and TH-350 feature payloads of up to 3kg and repeatability of ?0.01mm. These robots are suited to applications in the handling of small components, such as electrical, mobile phone and camera parts, assembly and test equipment. Other applications that demand similar accuracy are hard disk drive assembly, as well as very high precision work, such as optical lens grinding and watch assembly. Furthermore, the TH-250 and TH-350 allow the user to place electronic components on PCB boards, or even handle the optical pick up lenses used in CD and DVD disc drives.

Auto Stocker
For automatic production systems a parts feeder to robot is one of an important element. If orientation and position of workpieces are not accurate, automatic system will not run efficiently. Frequently, sensitive or odd-shaped parts are not suitable for bowl feeders and vision systems will not be economical solution. These parts should be presented by trays which are available in the market and easy to transfer an reuse.
Hiratas Auto Stocker solves your tray feeding problem economically. The Auto Stocker is designed as tray changing system to palletize or depalletize workpieces by robot. Its accurate positioning, fast tray change time and sufficient storage of trays meet the requirement of your automatic production system. The typical applications for the Auto Stocker are for assembly operation, palletizing for injection molding machines and loading/unloading workpieces for machine tools.
If the buffer capacity of two piles of full trays and one pile of empty trays not enough you can attach additional buffer segments to the basic tray feeder. If a pile of full trays is heavier than 15 kg in case of frequent tray change respectively maximal 25 kg in case of once in a while it is forbitten by law that the operator carries the tray stack. In such cases it is possible to add on a docking station for a cart which feeds in and out the the trays. In the full automated version of the tray feeder you can connect the Autostocker with an AGV.
|
|
This machine loads automatically non-uniform or packed products in:
- a horizontal flow-wrapper
- a cartoner
- a thermoformer
- a tray, a crate
- a carton or a pre-formed carton
A vision system can be added providing changeover flexibility and also controls the quality.
