Sliding Instead of Rolling
DryLin® R linear bearings work through the use of sliding elements, in contrast to the design of recirculating ball bearing systems. In practice, these iglidur® elements made of high performance polymers can be manufactured from all iglidur® materials. Thus, the DryLin® R linear technology has the advantages of all of the different iglidur® bearing materials. iglidur® J is the best material for most linear applications because of its excellent wear and low coefficient of friction. Therefore, DryLin® R linear plain bearings are designed using this material.
The Most Important Properties of DryLin® R Linear Plain Bearings:
- maintenance free
- dirt resistant
- lightweight
- extremely quiet operation
- resistant to corrosion
- high static loading capacity
- resistant to shocks and vibrations
DryLin® R linear plain bearings are designed for dry running. Dirt, dust, and other abrasive media are not drawn into the bearing surface by grease or oils.
In contrast with the recirculating ball bearings, The performance of DryLiny® R bearings is not effected by the length of travel. Therefore, there are no restrictions on minimum stroke length for DryLin® R linear bearings. |

Simplicity Linear Plane Bearing
The time-tested Simplicity® linear plane bearing has been one of Pacific Bearing Company’s staple products for over twenty years. Originally designed as a solution to catastrophic roller bearing failure, the self-lubricating Simplicity linear bearing has not only met great success in the most contaminated environments, but has helped spawn newer products using the same durable technology: Mini-Rail® and the Uni-guide to name a couple.
Simplicity linear plane bearings contain bonded Frelon® liner; which allows for low friction, long-life, high load capacity, shock absorption and the ability to work in dirty environments. They are size interchangeable and are also available in Standard Inch, Metric, and Japanese Metric sizes.
The Simplicity® product line consists of more than linear bearings, also included are: linear slides, pillow blocks, sleeve bearings, flange mounts, and die set bushings. Most products are available in inch or metric sizes.
Available for use not only in the most contaminated environments, but also the most clean, Simplicity linear plane bearings are the ideal product for a wide range of applications.
• Virtually maintenance free
• Industry interchangeable
• Applicable in dirty and clean environments
• Self-aligning capability
• Low friction and Long-life
• Shock absorption |

OILES 2000 is a composite multi-layer bearing composed of special sintered material used as sliding surface and steel material as backing metal. Sintered layers are of a special copper alloy containing uniformly dispersed solid lubricant, the main component of which is graphite. In addition, these sintered layers have been processed by the oil impregnation treatment, too.
Features:
-Freedom of motions to any direction due to solid lubricant dispersed evenly, with high performance even for very small motions
-Applicable in self-lub state
-Outstanding load durability, velocity characteristics and wear resistance
-Available of standard products with various sizes and plates for additional machining

It has two layers - sliding layer and backing layer. Sliding layer consists of filament-wound PTFE and Synthetic fiber that has low frictional and wear-resistant performance. Backing layer consists of filament-wound fiberglass impregnated into epoxy resin. It has good load capacity with low friction and stick-slip-free operation at slow speed.
Mostuf composite bearings are filament-wound composite bearings with a self-lubricating inner surface backed with a high-strength, fiber-reinforced thermoset composite. Composite bearings are standard components for manufacturers involved in heavy industrial equipment, farm equipment, pneumatic and hydraulic cylinder manufacturers, as well as valve and actuator manufacturers. Essentially, composite bearings are ideal for high-load, low speed applications or where lubrication is difficult or costly. |
