ServoFoxx Gearboxes
By combining planetary and Spiral Bevel Gearboxes the ServoFoxx range provides a flexible system offering any combination of ratio, input and output options you require. Not only coaxial or right angle but with hollow shafts, one or more auxilliary shafts, switching or reversing gearboxes or even with a third shaft for speed modulation.
Thanks to the incorporation of interchangeable flange plates and a two part coupling, the gearbox will fit all motors.

PG planetary gear units are divided into 21 basic groups depending on the different torques that are to be transmitted to the output shaft, which can vary from 0.05 to 65 kNm.
In fact, the product modular construction permits the coupling of bevel gears, worm gears, hydraulic brakes and a variety of input shafts to the planetary units, as well as providing for a wide choise of coupling flanges for hydraulic or electric motors.

The GBX servo gearbox family has been designed for direct attachment to servomotors. It is a high precision low backlash servo gearbox for industrial automation applications.
The GBX-AB-Series and the cost effective GBX-AE-Series are helical planetary gearboxes. They are designed for continuous (S1) or cyclic (S5) duty operation. Both the GBX-AB and GBX-AE families have inline shaft and right angle models.

The PPG precision planetary gear is characterized by three major design advantages:
PPG load compensation ensures minimized friction for smooth running and for outstandingly high synchronizing, and last but not least, a long service life.
The PPG compensating coupling has a unique, space-saving angle error compensation feature. The low mass moment of inertia ensures high motive response. The coupling operates without backlash, with high rigidity and has length compensation.
The friction optimized PPG seals ensure a lower starting inertie.
The thermal load limit is very high due to low friction losses.

Brevini's in-line or right angle planetary gearboxes can be used in a wide range of industrial equipment and mobile applications. They are based upon a flexible modular system and are available with either male or female output shaft configurations.
The male configuration (cylindrical or splined) is used where side or axial loads are acting upon the output shaft. The female configuration is used to transmit purely torque and is employed where space is limited. The flange mounted gearboxes are supported by a wide range of accessories. These include: adaptors for electric and hydraulic motors, multidisc failsafe brakes and male input shaft configurations.

The "S Series" is the optimum proposal for all applications requiring high torque with minimum dimensions, on fixed industrial equipment and also self-propelled machines. This epicyclic solution is preferable to solutions with traditional gear units as it offers an improvement of 40-60% in terms of space and weight.
With its many output versions, numerous input possibilities and all the accessories supplied, the "S Series" extends the application possibilities of Brevini epicyclic gear units to all industrial sectors.
The main characteristics of this new Brevini Riduttori range are:
- 8 harmonically developed sizes, from 34,000 Nm to 370,000 Nm nominal torque

Brevini Riduttori has introduced a range of ATEX compliant planetary gearboxes suitable for applications in zones where explosive atmospheres may occur, and also zones characterised by the presence of gas mixtures and/or combustible powders (zones 1,2,21,22). Every ATEX compliant Brevini gearbox undergoes a special painting cycle to avoid the problem of electrostatic discharge, and is supplied with a specific User Instruction Manual and Conformity Statement according to CEE94/9/CE Directive, Enclosure VIII.

On the input side, they are equipped with a multidisc failsafe brake. These winch drives give the freedom to design the rope drum and frame of any size and to incorporate any special features required.
The driving motors, electrical or hydraulic, are fitted on the input side through the Brevini universal flange system.
