The Double Planetary Mixer includes two blades that rotate on their own axes, while they orbit the mix vessel on a common axis. The blades continuously advance along the periphery of the vessel, removing material from the vessel wall and transporting it to the interior. After one revolution the blades have passed through the entire vessel, after three revolutions most materials have been mixed and after only 36 revolutions, the blades have contacted virtually the entire batch.

Planetary mixers
A great versatility associated with a very high level of performance make of VMI industrial planetary mixers particularly suitable equipment for operations of foaming, emulsion, creaming, gritting and whipping. All the know-how process of VMI is concentrated in these column or bridge mixers which allow, among other things, to work in vacuum or under pressure conditions, the dosing and the introduction of components, the under pressure emptying, the heating/cooling and the on-site cleaning.

The ORU MS planetary pan mixers with vertical shafts allows the rapid mixing of all types of quality concrete (dry, semi-dry and plastic). The great versatility of the ORU MS pan mixer enables it to be used not only in the production of concrete, but also in the mixing of materials for the production of glass, ceramics, refractory materials, etc. The electric motor is characterized by high efficiency, low power input and "soft" start up even with a full load, thanks to a mechanical coupling and a hydraulic coupling*, which protect the transmission devices from overloads and impacts.
The reduction unit, specifically designed for a balanced distribution of power to the various mixing devices, ensures a low-noise rotation without backlash even under severe working conditions.
The pan mixers can be charged by means of a conveyor or skip.
