The core of this PLC 7001 Chip is based on the PLC 7000 which has already been in use for two years. With its simplified memory interface the PLC 7001 can be easily integrated as embedded PLC into div. customer applications.
The peripheral interface offers the possibility to realize up to 56 in- and outputs, pulse duration modulation functions as well as stepper motor controls from integrated modules. For the application of decentral peripherals, the chip offers a serial I/O bus which allows operation of up to 32 digital and analog I/O modules.
In connection with an Arm9 processor there is also the possibility to operate Ethernet-based communication like TCP/IP, EtherCAT, Powerlink and Profinet.
At an operating voltage of 1.8V the power loss amounts to only 1.2W. For this reason the design is optimally suitable for the application in higher temp. ranges.
Single-Chip CPU
For users wishing to integrate a high-performance hard PLC into their application, there is a prefabricated PLC module which lead through all digital/analog and other communication interfaces to a SO-200 PinConnector. These modules can be easily integrated into various applications like board controllers, HMIs etc.
The modules as well as the chip models can be equipped with a PLC user memory of up to 2MB.

Description
Wöhrle has launched a new compact PLC to the marked named PLC 102. This is a numerous renewal of an already multiple proved operation and controlling unit for simple up to middle tasks of automation and monitoring of machines and equipment.
This PLC belongs to a generation of controlling systems which can related more to the classic data processing units,
for example input of processing data, HMI and communication. This unit is furnished with integratedgraphic-able LC-Display and film keyboard and has two modern separate processing units in 32-bit format for PLC and HMI (human machine interface). Both the processing units are connected with a fast and simple interface. Due to this fact the processing unit is able to access to all kinds of data of the PLC including the processing picture-copy. The controlling part of the PLC 102 is to be programmed with Siemens STEP 5, the programming of the graphic part is to be done by means of one of the well-known high-level programming languages at the PC.

Highspeed control system programmable with STEP7 from Siemens
With the VIPA “Speed7 Technology”, system 300S is the fastest control system in the world programmable with STEP®7 from Siemens. The maximum memory for programme and data has already been integrated into the SPEED7 CPUs. For this reason the CPUs can be operated without an additional memory card. Depending on the CPU type, the integrated work memory can be expanded to 2MByte or 8MByte with the VIPA Memory Configuration Card as required. All CPUs in the System 300S are equipped with an Ethernet Interface for PG/OP communication. A CP 343 interface for TCP/IP communication has been integrated in the ‘NET’ CPUs. Because of its high performance and scalable memory, system 300S is especially suitable for mid to high range applications.

The FPSC Fiessler Programmable Safety Center is a programmable electronic safety for personal protection, i.e. for safety functions. The FPSC complies with the highest safety requirements:
- SK1 through SK 4 according to EN 954-1

- PL a through PL e according to prEN 13849-1
The product family FPSC provides maximum flexibility within its hardware and software structure. The FPSC - AD version offers the possibility to connect decentralized I/O modules via the implemented safety bus. This guarantees a modular system design that offers flexibility therefore reducing the costly and often elaborate configuration of the safe system bus.
The safety-related functions are programmable by using pre-assembled and tested software modules. The chaining
is made by simple assignment of input , i.e. output adresses. Intermediate data are stored in the temporary storage. There are various ready-to-use software modules at your disposal. For the communication with a superior control, i.e. for the operating sequence control or technology control, a serial interface is provided. The transfer of data for visualizing as well as the transfer of machine-relevant data can de realised via this interface.

The compact controllers are a combination of real-time-capable PLC and operator panel.
The real-time communication with the drives and I/Os is carried out via the ACC bus, based on CANopen, or real-time Ethernet. As such, the real-time bus system ensures the synchronous running of the axles and allows for an integrated communication and diagnostics up to the drive.
The multi-talents are known for the usual compact AMK design and, therefore, can be installed in very space-saving ways. The robust terminals at the front side are protected against splash water and dust according to IP65 and, therefore, perfectly suitable for use in rough production settings.
