90° Diverter
Series 229 & 237
Compact, Abrasion Resistant
The Dynamic Air 90° Diverter is a reliable, low cost, compact and simple design of heavy duty construction. A positive rubber-to-rubber seal is created by the internal flapper which presses against the unused port. The seal improves as the conveying pressure increases, ensuring better performance against leakage in even the most severe dry bulk solids applications.
Features
Abrasion resistant
Positive sealing to 100 PSIG
Full port design
Economical
Compact, low profile
Low maintenance
Position sensors standard

The V-Diverter valve is used especially for diverting the bulk material flow in pneumatic dense- and dilutephase conveying systems.
The patented design of the plug enables application in any conveying direction.
Design characteristics
- suitable for pneumatic dense- and dilute-phase conveying systems
- smooth and gap-free transition due to patented design of inlet and outlet
- single channel design avoids plugging
- high dust and pressure tightness due to sealing pressing against the housing
- pressure tight from -1.0 to +6.0 bar (g) gauge to the outside and the non activated leg
- high reliability based on maintenance-free actuator
- solid temperature range from -20 to +120°C and ambient temperature range -20 to +40°C for standard design
- no additional safety device necessary as there are no moving parts outside the valve
- easy installation in all orientations because of integrated cast flanges and supports
- easy subsequent change of complete drive from left to right side of diverter valve
- easily visible direction indicator of plug orientation
- direct control of plug orientation by proximity switches
- all bolts in stainless steel
- low total weight
- defection angle 45°

Bulk flow has to be distributed an collected. For that diverter valves with the highest demand on functionality and operational safety are used. For product pureness deposit-free and CIP capable diverter valves are indispensable.
Their maintenance-free operation is a deciding factor for the profitability of the plant. Diverter valves from Coperion Waeschle fulfil these numerous requirements even at high pressure and temperature ranges.

Twin-Outlet Diverting Rotary Valve combines the function of a rotary feeder/airlock and diverter valve in one simple mechanism. Select left or right discharge by changing rotor direction via motor and reversing switch. Only one moving part. Very compact. Exclusive tapered rotor allows rotor gap to be easily adjusted. Heavy cast aluminum, iron or stainless steel valve body. Adjustable packing gland shaft seals -- purge available. Heavy duty permanently sealed outboard roller bearings. Ideal for vacuum or pressure conveying systems. Available in five sizes with capacities up to 2,500 cubic feet per hour.
