A positive rubber-to-rubber seal is created by the internal flapper which presses against the unused port. The Quik-Vent vacuum / pressure relief valve is an excellent safety device for mounting on storage silos, bins or any other container to relieve excessive or unwanted air pressure that might be generated by a pneumatic conveying system or other process equipment.
Unsafe conditions are easily controlled by the Quik-Vent vacuum/pressure relief valve. Generous ports quickly exhaust air or gases to protect against sudden positive or negative pressure conditions.
Optional sensors are also available to provide an electrical signal to indicate when over or under pressure conditions are present.
