This whisker valve with extremely low actuating forces is particularly well suited for units where dissimilar parts or actuating elements without precision positioning need to be sensed, or where the actuating levels are different. The Diaphragm Amplifiers are miniature interface devices which perform the same function as a piloted three-way valve, but at low outlet flow rates. Pneumatic signals of several inches water gauge applied to the input will control the output pressure up to 35 PSI in both digital and analog systems.
Diaphragm Amplifiers are very suitable for providing pneumatic signals to air-piloted valves for powering small cylinders. They are also used at fluidic signal levels for providing isolation and in timing circuits.

The fine threads of the needle valve permit excellent adjustment for precise control of flow. The flow is restricted in both directions and is adjustable from 0 to the equivalent flow of a 0.025" diameter orifice. The 7-turn adjustment needle valves are available in two models, the standard model and the fine adjustment model. The standard adjustment model has a pin angle of 6° with 10-64 threads; the fine adjustment model has a pin angle of 4° with 10-80 threads.

The TESCOM VT 3-way air operated valve provides high cycle life in a compact design in stainless steel or brass body construction with pressure ratings of 10,000 psi and 6,000 psi respectively. The miniature Preset Flow Control is ideal for many applications involving pneumatic systems, including the control of cylinder speed.
The operation of the flow control is based on the movement of a small disc. The flat surface on one side of the orificed disc seals and permits flow through the orifice. The amount of flow permitted in the reverse direction is determined by the orifice size. In the forward direction full flow is permitted. The flow controls design allows a maximum supply pressure of 75 PSI with a minimum cracking pressure of less than 10” H2O. Orifice sizes are available from .004” to .040”.

Actuating solenoid with built-in electronic timer. Two potentiometers
and two slide switches in the terminal box allow flexible adjustment
of pulse and interval duration. When the power is switched on, there
is a delay of about 1.5s before the valve is opened for a preset pulse
duration.
This is followed by a break (Pause). The durations involved are
generated by a microcontroller.
The power supply may be interrupted to carry out an operating test
without waiting for the break. The (N) terminal can be used to
operate the built-in solenoid independently of the cycle set, or to
operate an external "reference solenoid" in parallel with the internal
coil.
The 110/120V version's solenoid coil is operated by means of an
integral bridge rectifier. In this case external solenoids can only be
supplied with power using an additional rectifier.

These 3/2-way normally closed valves in base-mounting design are available as a complete Series in Sizes 4, 8, 12 and 30 (outlet ports G 1/2 to G 2, on both sides for more piping flexibility). valves offer the design features of the well-proven ROSS poppet valve technology and fully comply with the relevant criteria of DIN EN 692 as well as DIN EN 954 (Cat. 3 and 4). The valves provide dynamic, cyclic and internal monitoring during each actuating and de-actuating movement.
