TYPICAL APPLICATIONS
EFS
Standard size housings available with 30 (590), 60 (250), 100 (149), and 150 (99) mesh (micron) reusable, stainless steel filter cartridges. Units measure 11.25" long and feature a 1" NPT intake and dual 1" NPT discharge ports (3/4" reducers provided).
FEATURES
Graymills Superflo filters are designed to overcome the typical pressure drop and reduced flow due to clogging that occurs with ordinary filters. A permanent magnet suspended over the intake port traps ferrous particles which find their way into the fluid, and diffuses the flow outward into the filter screen flutes. Filtered material is trapped on the inside of the removable/reusable stainless steel filter cartridge. To clean, just remove the cartridge. All the contaminants come out with it. Self draining. No wasted fluid or messy leftovers to deal with. Stainless steel filter cartridges are available in four different mesh screens.

Drop-in magnetic separator filters, designed for fluid tanks and reservoirs, pull fine particles out of fluids and hold them until the unit can be cleaned and dropped back in. Used in tanks or other containers having low to moderate flows. Direct blast of fluids over unit is not recommended.

These magnet filters are used to filter ferrous particles from liquids and they are frequently used in hydraulic circuits and cooling systems. The magnet system is constructed from ceramic magnets and the unit is built into a stainless steel (AISI 304) casing. For cleaning, the magnet system is simple to remove by undoing several quick-release fasteners. A special double-walled version is available for use in heated pipeline systems (for example, separating ferrous particles from molten chocolate and cheese). Bakker Magnetics magnet filters are available in a number of versions for special applications. For situations where extremely stringent requirements for ferrous separation have to be met and/or tiny ferrous particles (m region) have to be extracted, a system can
be fitted with Neodymium magnets (add "/01" to the article number). A special version is available for use in systems with high pressures. Sanitary models are also available for applications in, for example, the food industry. For processing large quantities of raw materials, heavy-duty versions can be supplied. These versions have a processing capacity from 1000 to 8500 l/min.

As pre-cleaners or main cleaners for subordinate applications and magnetisable chips, magnetic filters offer a good and reasonably priced filtration method.
Turbo Separator AG produces magnetic filters with flow rates of 100 - 400l/min.
Depending on the application area, these magnetic filters can also be built up in cascades.
Magnetic filters from Turbo-Separator can be installed as integrated components of a system or built on as accessory products.
Special requirements call for special solutions - we shall implement your wishes, with unconventional solutions if need be! (SE magnets)

Bunting General-Purpose Grate Magnets provide a properly configured, high-density magnetic field to trap and hold ferrous fines, fragments, and small metal objects. Stainless steel tubing and frames are welded into strong, integral units. They can be installed - or simply laid - inside hoppers, housings, and bins - and easily removed for cleaning. Grates are built for low-abrasion applications and should measure at least twice the size of your outlet opening, so as not to restrict product flow.
General-Purpose Grate Magnets consist of multi-polarity 1-inch diameter cartridges arranged on 2-inch centers. They're available in round, square, and rectangular configurations from 4" through 36" in size. They can be ordered without baffles for freer flowing materials, and with angular baffles for maximum magnetic protection.

Smooth-faced and extended-pole models extend life of coolant, cutting tools, grinding wheels and pumps. Radial-design magnetic circuits extract ferrous particles to help meet tolerances and improve surface finish in grinding and metal-cutting operations.
Continuously Rotating, Smooth Face and designed for use where little or no nonmagnetic material is contaminating the coolant.
Continuously Rotating, Extended Poles are designed for use where a relatively small amount of nonmagnetic material is contaminating the coolant.
Indexing, Extended Poles are used when both ferrous and non-ferrous contaminants are present.
Indexing, Smooth Face are for use with new or existing machines.
Continuously Rotating, Extended Poles feature flow rates from 144 GPM (545 LPM) to 480 GPM (1,817 LPM).
Indexing, Extended Poles are designed for use where a relatively small amount of nonmagnetic material is contaminating the coolant.
Magnetic Cyclone Filtration Systems
The combination of a powerful Magnetic Coolant Cleaner and one or more hydrocyclones offer protection against most ferrous and nonferrous particles being returned to the cutting tool.
Rare Earth Coolant Cleaners
Permanent rare earth magnetic roll maximizes removal of fine ferrous particles.

Magnetically coupled centrifugal pumps of building group 2 are non-self-priming centrifugal pumps with volute casing. They operate in horizontal position and are built in monobloc design. A magnetic coupling connects the pump to the electromotor and transmits the power of the motor to the impeller.
Housing, impeller, impeller magnet coating and rear casing can be made of either glass-fibre reinforced PP plastic or PVDF. Sleeve bearings, starting ring and centering shaft are made of 99.7% pure oxide ceramic. O-ring sealing of the housing is made of FPM or EPDM or FEP (optionally available).
- For aggressive and neutral liquids
- For short-term and continuous operation
- With non-ventilated motor so that it is insensitive to vapour.

Grid magnet for bulk materials
Permanently magnetic grid magnets can be supplied in circular, rectangular or square format and are therefore universally applicable. Ferrous particles are filtered out from bulk material as they pass through the magnetic grid.
Advantages
Powerful magnets remove even low magnetised stainless steel particles from the product flow.
