For compressed air, always use clean air chat does not contain corrosive gas.
Be sure to use non lubricated, filtrated dry air (équivalent to Class 1, 3, 2 - ISO 8571-3).
With a thorough understanding of compressed air characteristics, design a pneumatic circuit.
%u25A0 Where instantaneous stop holding at emergency stop is required, the same function as in the mechanical or hydraulic or electrical units cannot be expected.
%u25A0 There arise pop-up, jet-out and leaking phenomena caused by compressibility and expansibility, which are air characteristics.
Prior to use, always ensure that the product withstands the operating environ ment.
%u25A0 The product cannot be used in corrosive gas, chemical liquid solvent, water, water vapor (steam) and ozone atmosphère. When a product is exposed to water droplets, oil or metallic powder, such as spatters and chips, be sure to protect it.
%u25A0 No product can be used in the explosive gas atmosphère.
Always pay extra attention to the electric circuit during emergency stop, and cylinder opération, etc. during power failure.
Attach a "pressure switch" and "residual pressure discharge valve" to the compressed air inlet of the equi pment.

MD4
Modular Filters, Regulators, Lubricators with space saving design allowing for use in smaller spaces while providing high flow capacity.
MD4 series have modular clamps that can be disconnected from the front instead of the bottom, making filter element replacement and general maintenance much easier. There is also an option for an adsorber that is designed to remove vapors from the air line that cannot be removed by a coalescing filter. It allows for air to be free of oil and hydrocarbons.

In-line vacuum and pressure filters for high air flow rates (units of up to 60,000 litres per minute). These filter elements can be produced with either threaded or flanged attachments, and even special custom versions may be produced to meet client's requirements. Filter elements made of paper, polyester, metallic mesh etc. Stainless steel versions also available.
Materials
Special attention is given to the selection of materials and manufacture of products. Each filter is individually tested in order to assure serviceability of components in the long run. The cartridges may be fitted with different filtering materials such as cellulose, certified polyester of various type, wire meshing and microfibre.
Applications
This filter range is suitable for special applications, where the air volume to be treated is important. Filters may be used on both vacuum and pressurized systems. Owing to the notable know-how acquired during years of field experience, we can offer the advice and design solutions required.

TYPICAL APPLICATIONS
EFS
Standard size housings available with 30 (590), 60 (250), 100 (149), and 150 (99) mesh (micron) reusable, stainless steel filter cartridges. Units measure 11.25" long and feature a 1" NPT intake and dual 1" NPT discharge ports (3/4" reducers provided).
FEATURES
Graymills Superflo filters are designed to overcome the typical pressure drop and reduced flow due to clogging that occurs with ordinary filters. A permanent magnet suspended over the intake port traps ferrous particles which find their way into the fluid, and diffuses the flow outward into the filter screen flutes. Filtered material is trapped on the inside of the removable/reusable stainless steel filter cartridge. To clean, just remove the cartridge. All the contaminants come out with it. Self draining. No wasted fluid or messy leftovers to deal with. Stainless steel filter cartridges are available in four different mesh screens.

HIGH PRESSURE EFFLUENT FILTER
In difficult drainage environments, where you want to spread the effluent out as much as possible and ensure you do not clog your media, this high pressure filter will act as a second level of filtration and will keep your orifice lines clean. This filter is ideal for filtering solids before they reach the drain field, especially when you are working with advanced systems, pressure dosing systems, or poor soil conditions.The filter installs on the discharge side of any effluent pump. Dual stainless steel screens prevent solids greater than 1/20” from passing to the drain field. This filter is easy to install and requires no special tools to remove it for service. It is accessible from grade level.

M&C Universal Filters reliably separate solids, in particular extremely fine particles,occuring in analysis techniques in gas filtration, using very fine, deep-acting filter elements.Thanks to their universal design, the filters can also be used as separators (without a filter element), liquid filters or, with adsorption cartridges, as an adsorption filter. For ambient or medium emperatures up to 180 °C, a stainless steel version FSS or FT-H version can be offered. Heated filters up to 320°C are also available.

This range of filters has been specifically designed to operate in conditions of almost absolute vacuum. Each filter is individually tested in order to verify its vacuum sealing capacity and the surface treatments applied are capable of ensuring their optimum condition through time. The filter cartridges are interchangeable with those usually used in this field. The filter screen being made of treated paper with filtering capacity of approx. 5 microns. This is sufficient to guarantee the protection of the vacuum generating pumps under normal working conditions. The filter cartridges need to be replaced when they are found to be either clogged or damaged, their replacement being facilitated by the filter closure system. In addition to the shown filter types, on request we also produce filters having special dimensions, with non-standard inlet and outlet caps, or with filter cartridges made of various materials, to meet special requirements.
Material
Particular attention is given to the choice of top quality material to assure long lasting product duration through time. The cartridges can be fitted with different filtering materials such as cellulose, certified polyesters of various types, metal wire meshing, microfibres and activated carbon. Special versions can also be made in stainless steel.

Heavy-Duty Standard Air Filters for On-Highway, Off-Highway, and Stationary Applications
Racor AFSF Standard Air Filters are designed to be connected to the air intake of the gasoline or diesel engine.
How They Work
Air flows through static vanes (plastic or metal) which causes the air to spin. Centrifugal force separates the heaviest impurities (dust, dirt, insects, and other debris) from the air stream. These contaminants are discharged automatically through an integral evacuator valve. Only purified air flows to the air filter elements (primary and safety stages of filtration).
