Solidly built, compact HILCO starters can provide starts within 30 to 40 seconds using pressurized air or natural gas actuation. And they are capable of extended purge times of five minutes or longer. These starters are field-proven to provide high torque on demand for cranking gas turbine and reciprocating engines.
Pneumatic Starters
Used for starting technical gas turbines and reciprocating engines. The machine will operate and produce torque with any type of pressurized gas as long as the pressure differential across the machine is maintained.
Overruning Professional clutch
Featuring a roller-ramp design, the clutch, when engaged, transmits power via a cam and roller assembly connected to the input shaft. The clutch provides automatic disengagement when the input torque drops to zero, allowing the output shaft to overrun.

By using a Waukesha Enginator engine/generator set to produce energy, you'll significantly reduce or eliminate your reliance on the electric utility. ATGL Englnator units are available from 1330 kW to 2960 kW continuous 60Hz power at 900 rpm.

As customer requirements for power, reliability and performance
increased, Waukesha went to work to make the ATGL meet the greatest
demands. The new 16V-AT27GL achieves world-class emissions and fuel
economy, while increasing torque and horsepower by 37% relative to
the 12V-ATGL. It also offers better turndown, better altitude capability,
longer service intervals, lower environmental impact and reduced
maintenance requirements. |
