Direct acting pneumatic presses
DA series
Direct acting pneumatic presses develop their power uniformly over the entire length of the stroke. Where higher forces are involved, the energy-saving tandem cylinder type is used. This type optimises compressed air consumption, since the return stroke is performed by only one cylinder chamber. Because the air input takes place inside the pneumatic cylinder, the press can only be operated with 2 air connections. All direct acting pneumatic presses are available as an automation module or can be supplied with mäder controls for individual workstations.
Further quality features:
- hardened anti-twist ram
- long, honed ram guide for highest precision
- three standard lengths of stroke
- simple height adjustment of the press head using
a threaded spindle
- side-mounted measuring strip for rapid repetition
of settings when changing tools
- virtually maintenance-free double-action cylinders
- low noise: under 75 dBA
|
|
360 kg / 700 kg
Assembly, connections, crimping, bending forms or small cutting, these models are suitable for work requiring faster target speed.
1t / 3t
Versatile, these double acting models are also perfectly suitable for numerous assemblies, connection and crimping jobs and for your small cutting or stamping work.

Pneumatic toggle presses
APK series
The optimum transmission ratios of the toggle press produce
high forces at the end of the stroke, ensuring low air consumption.
Thanks to the resultant low energy consumption,
mäder pneumatic toggle presses are an economical
means of production not only at the time of purchase, but
also in the long term.
All pneumatic toggle presses can be supplied with mäder
standard controls (see page 23) or with controls made to
customers' specification.
Further quality features:
- factory-set bottom dead centre (BDC)
- simple height adjustment of the press head using
a bevel gear
- side-mounted measuring strip for rapid repetition
of settings when changing tools
- virtually maintenance-free double-action cylinder
- low noise: under 75 dBA

TOX PowerKurver
When the application requires clamping, positioning, holding, crimping, shearing, cutting, stamping, marking, bending, folding or welding, then one needs a force that is linear, with precise repeatibility, and also with the least possible tolerance deviations, even in hard to reach places.
The TOX PowerKurver is available with 2 drive variants:
* with pneumatic drive
* with electro-mechanical drive: TOX ElectricDrive
The TOX PowerKurver, along with its extraordinary features and its uniquely developed curve geometry, offers a practial solution to the following tasks:
* Nearly linear force output in the powerstroke range due to its customized curve geometry
* Nearly linear torque output over a defined operating angle
* Quick approach stroke
* Smooth engaging powerstroke
* High press forces with low air pressures
* Highest precision during joining process (electric drive)
* Variable opening angle (electric drive)
* Low air consumption
* High cycle rates; short cycle times
* Compact construction
* Able to handle large side loads
* Adjustability of the tooling transverse axis

HP series
mäder hydro-pneumatic presses are operated only by compressed air, activating the hydraulic power stroke automatically. They combine the advantages of pneumatic and hydraulic presses.
During the pneumatically operated rapid stroke, the workpiece is approached rapidly at low power. The hydraulic power stroke commences automatically as soon as resistance is met. This is why the input energy is
used most economically with these models in particular.
Since mäder hydro-pneumatic presses do not require a hydraulic unit, they can be used even in the most confined spaces.
Further quality features:
- hardened anti-twist ram
- long, honed ram guide for highest precision
- two lengths of power stroke available
- simple height adjustment of the press head using
a bevel gear
- side-mounted measuring strip for rapid repetition of settings when changing tools
- simple triggering as with double-action pneumatic cylinder
- low noise: under 75 dBA
