Pneumatic conveying is a core technology of Gericke since more than 60 years! Suction conveyors are very compact, easy to install and simple to operate. The suction unit with its integrated receiving hopper can be placed on feeders, mixers, vessels.
Combined with a weighing sysem, the units work as suction weigher, meaning that batches can be measured during conveying cycle.
The system operate purely pneumatically and are therefore suitable for hazardous areas too.

ANVER TT Series Transfer Tubes instantly provide air movement the moment compressed air is applied and their transfer speed and output flow can be infinitely adjusted by regulating the input pressure. Made from aluminum with a durable anodized finish, they come in a wide variety of bore sizes from 0.375” to 1” (9.5 to 25.4 mm) I.D., with air flows from 15 to 145 SCFM.

Positive Displacement Vacuum Pumps
Vacuum pump packages are recommended for the higher rates over longer distances and continuous service. They are also used on many applications where a venturi unit would be adequate but sufficient compressed air is not available. They feature a positive displacement lobe-type blower and are complete packages with motor and blower, secondary material filter on the inlet and muffler on the outlet. These units are mounted on a heavy duty, forkliftable base and are equipped with belt guards conforming to current OSHA standards. Included are a glycerin-filled vacuum gauge and a vacuum relief valve. The secondary filter protects the pump from any carryover of material from the material receiver. Cartridges are easily changed by removing the end cover. Optional differential pressure gauge and/or switch can be furnished to indicate or shut down if filter should become restricted.

With a wide range of granule receivers ranging from 1,5 to 140 dm3, Piovan is able to offer the ideal solution for all conveying requirements. Three versions of vacuum receivers are available: granule receiver entirely in stainless steel (C models), version with 3 sight glasses (SR models) and in the configuration with glass section (GR units).

The KEYPAD permits to customise the hopper loader’s functioning, setting the conveying times, the pause time between the loading cycles, the maximum number fo unsuccessful loading cycles, the modes of filter cleaning, and the functioning of the proportional valve.
