VMC 4525, VMC 6030 and VMC 8030 are designed for machining large parts. With these machines, large parts can be easily loaded on the table from the front or side doors.
The MAG Fadal VMC 4525, with XYZ travels of 45"(1,143mm) x25"(635 mm) x24"(609.6mm) and 53.5" (1,359mm) x 25" (635mm) table, is a robust machine with heavy cast iron construction. Included is a high torque spindle, that reduces cycle time for heavy cutting operations including steel.
The MAG Fadal VMC 6030 provides additional work space for large parts.|
The cutting envelope of this machine is 60" (1,524mm) x 30" (762mm) x 30" (762mm) for axes X, Y and Z and easily allows larger 4 and 5 axes rotary tables to function within the spacious machining cube. Deep molds are a popular application for this machine and if needed, extended Z options are available.
The VMC 8030 VMC is suitable for large and long part producers. Machinists can rough-out material fast then execute final passes for smooth and accurate finish parts.
The work envelope is 80"(2,032 mm) x 30" (762mm) x 30" (762mm) in X, Y and Z axes. Optional extended Z travels are available should your applications demand.

KX The Classic HURON
As far back as 1993, Huron presents a very innovating concept of high speed multiaxes machines. KX milling centres have been launched in 1998, portal type and mobile table with 3 axes.
Applications concerned are moulds, cutting tools and machining of models, prototyping and complex pieces.

Box Way Construction
The VMC 4525 features heavy cast iron box ways, which provide large surface area contact for maximum vibration damping and rigidity. The hardened and ground box ways utilize virtually friction-free non-metallic liners on all gibs and way surfaces to ensure consistently closer tolerances for more years of heavy machining.

Wider castings increase rigidity and coupled with the box ways, Cool Power and large 40 mm diameter ball screws, enable the VMC 4525 to deliver tolerances of ±0.00016.
Positive Displacement Lubrication
Stickslip is virtually eliminated, accuracy preserved and machine life extended by positive displacement lubrication over the full length of the way surface.
Vector Drive
A leading-edge AC Vector Drive system with a high torque 22.5 HP spindle motor delivers 270 ft/lbs. of peak torque and maintains consistent torque over the full RPM range from 10-10,000 RPM with closed loop feedback.
Two Speed Spindle

A new range of high speed milling machines has been presented by BieMmePi in 1996. These machines, named META, have a fixed gantry structure and is available in two different sizes (X=850mm Y=600mm Z=400 mm or X=850mm Y=1200mm Z=400 mm for the PLUS version) are equipped with tool magazine and automatic tool changer. Features:
Hardened and precision ground guide-ways are Turcite-B coated. Extra wide box ways design increase contact surface area for higher stability, faster positioning and heavier cutting.
The multi-speed spindle adopts top quality German-built Z.F. dual section gear box. Fully sealed immersion type lubrication with oil chiller circulates coolant and keeps the machine running cool even at 10,000 rpm. (Optional: KMV-8VC).
The spindle runs on high precision taper roller bearings which allow for any type of heavy duty cutting without vibration.
The Z axis is balanced with Nitrogen in conjunction with pneumatic Nitrogen cushioning of the headstock for automatic balancing during vertical motion. Perfectly level and smooth action eradicates vibration. (Optional: KMV-8VC)
Lubricant is pressure fed at a volumetric ratio for even distribution at all critical points for optimal lubrication.
All three axes employ C3 grade high precision ball screws, each with dual pretension nuts and internal cooling ducts with preloaded support at both ends.
The spindle and ball screws at all three axes are cooled by re-circulated oil which passes through an oil chiller, dispelling heat deformation (optional: KMV-8VC).

M2 ROTOPALLET the versatility of the machine structure of the series M made possible SERRTECH the realization of the M2, a vertical processing center "Rotopallet". This model with pallet changer is a machine, which is aligned to customers, who need high speeds as well as high accuracies, reliability and the reduction and of the unloading times with the machine cutting. A goal of SERRTECH was it to build machines which make an optimal service as well as maintenance work possible.
The hydraulic turning system is fast and exact, since the table is not raised with the rotation. The pallet change-over switch system with three-way Kronrad with Hirth-type serration separates downward, whereby a clear reduction of the rotation time as well as a high life span of the table are reached.
