ISCAR has a wide range of ball nose end mills.
Solid carbide cutters are available for the smaller diameter ranges.
Standard carbide inserts with indexable cutting tools begin at 8 mm (.315") and extend up to 50 mm (2.0").
Considerably larger sizes are available for special custom made orders.
FLEXFIT, a modular system, enables assembling a ball nose end mill to any of a variety of lengths, depending upon the application. This is an ideal solution for the die and mold industry.
Also available are end mills with round inserts for large sculptured surfaces and round corners.

Tests were carried out to compare the new S333 roughing cutter with a standard roughing cutter on AMG 1.5. On the S333, the combination of the toughness properties of the carbide material, the Super-G coating and the geometry of the tool (unequal helix, asymmetric chipbreaker profile) resulted in less tool vibration and less wear on the tool, compared to the standard roughing cutter. Consequently for the S333, the quality of the surface finish of the workpiece is higher and the tool life of the cutter is over 30% longer, resulting in less tool changes.

The new CoroMill® 790 Al Endmill - the number one aluminium endmill on the market, designed, in all respects, for HSM performance.
The CoroMill 790 cutter has been developed to meet the extreme manufacturing demands of frame components for the aerospace industry as well as machining of deep cavities faced by die and mould makers. It is effectively used for operations such as steep ramping and circular interpolation in helix.
With inserts firmly secured by a unique design of the support face in the insert seat, possible consequences of high radial forces, generated at high speeds, can be eliminated.
This insert security also guarantees accurate location of the cutting
edges - almost eliminating insert tolerance errors and thus any resulting run out.
Together with the most stable mounting on the market - the Coromant Capto® - you have an unbroken chain of precision elements - from cutting edge to spindle nose.

OSG is pleased to present our first-class line of Cobalt (HSS-Co) end mills. Our HSS-Co end mills have a higher hardness range than regular High-Speed Steel (HSS) end mills due to an 8% cobalt content, which results in increased tool life and overall performance.
HSS-Co end mills are designed to mill difficult-to-machine materials, and are more forgiving than carbide tooling. Where carbide has a tendency to break or chip in less rigid operations, HSS-Co is ideal for such applications.
OSG uses a premium HSS-Co substrate, while some competitor products utilize a more basic grade of HSS, resulting in reduced hardness and a decreased selection of materials for which their tools can be effective.

SERF (Sinusoidal Edge Rougher Finisher) design provides the benefits of a roughing mill with the edge quality of a finishing mill in a Polycrystalline Diamond double-flute tool on solid-carbide body.
The unique SERF geometry results in reduced impact forces during the cut resulting in longer tool life, less cutting force, greater feed rates and reduced noise.
Edge finish in fibrous composite materials is improved due to the overlapping sinusoidal edge pattern which is designed to impart a fiber shearing action during the cut.
Usage: Carbon Fiber, G-10 and other Fiberglass
